Starting to lose faith that this will end before next Monday

To steer this back on topic, what kind of fuckery do you guys bet will happen today?
Biggest issue we might see before lunch is if the juror who took home the notes tries to insert outside information. If another juror realizes it and reports it, thing will go critical.

However, it feels like we are in the dug in long haul stage now. Could be a few more days of this if no one is willing to budge and change their vote.

You can characterize it that way or you can characterize it as bringing maximum publicity to this case to demand justice for the kid.

Depends on your level of cynicism.
Given each and everyone has plugged themselves at some point, several have complained about not getting much spilloff from the high view counts, and very few have done any outreach to convince more people to watch it...

Well?

The jury will still be hung, but tonight glowies will send the jurors videos of that guy outside the courthouse yelling "nigger" at people, with a note saying that they're causing this to happen. Overnight, the jury goes from lean acquit to unanimous guilty

or

fucking nothing, because we're due a shit day of nothingness

Anyway someone can make money, they will make money. That doesn't mean it can't serve a public good, that's the idea behind a free market economy.

So far each deliberation day was more ridiculous than the last, so I'm expecting some proper violence to break out. Either protestors or possibly even an assualt on the courthouse/jurors.

Agreed, but I was specifically referring to comments like "Oh yeah, I remember when Half Life came out, best 15th birthday a kid could have". Usually not that specific, but specific enough to realize they're a good decade or two my senior.
Absolutely nothing related to the trial will happen today. The ideological holdouts intend to die on this hill, because muh guns bad/whites bad/fash bad--facts of the case be damned. The only relevant happenings will be speculation on the jury's lunch choice, and the obligatory boredom-inspired foodposting of the day.

Also, many of us have been internetting for ages. My first ban was on AOL Online in 1993 because I called one of the chat room jannies an "asshole." The infraction appeared on our monthly bill and my dad grounded me.

I learned cursive in the first grade. My hand writing is actually impeccable. I’m a zoomer.

I also only attended private schools for the bulk of my life.

I will never, ever send my child to the cesspit that is public schools.

Bonus tip: if you have a kid that struggles with their penmanship, take them to the monkey bars at the playground. It actually helps, so I’ve been told.
Agreed, public schools are a nightmare. I think one of the reasons I grew up not hating black people is because I went to private schools for most of my education where black kids acted like any other well adjusted white kids. I didn’t even know anyone thought we were any different until I went to public schools where black kids made it clear that they thought they needed to have a chip on their shoulder about race.

To get back on topic here...

I dropped off following the thread around the first day of deliberation. Is the leading theory on why it's taking so long still that juror #54 is some kind of partisan liberal white woman holding up the trial? Or has anything else emerged?
It's generally believed that the foreman juror is some white Karen and was the one who asked to take the jury instructions home last night. Barnes, for what it's worth, said that she's possibly part of the old blood in Kenosha.

I'd agree, if not for the fact I cannot see much public good with what they are doing.

Doing both is fine, but its very lopsided towards one.

Cursive is a pain in the ass both to write and to read in pretty much all languages. The only languages I've seen where cursive is somewhat viable and easily readable are Arabic and hebrew. Arabic because the entire language is cursive and Hebrew because Hebrew cursive doesn't link letters together.

Ie this:

But the worst is Russian

good to see russian cursive is just as tonal as it is spoken.

give us the dynamite Your Honor, please
And lose the strat where they go to the weekend, enjoy their time off, then act like they forgot the whole case to get out of jury duty? I'm sure at least 2 jurors thought of this one, why won't they try it? Just so we're clear, this isn't a good idea, I'm just saying they'll TRY it.

I can't help but imagine the anger and frustration of arguing with that shrew forewoman. Firstly, they only pay you $50 a day for jury duty, which can be fucking devastating, so you're trying to get this shit done as quickly as possible. You've already made up your mind, no matter what anyone says you are dead certain that Kyle is innocent simply by looking at the facts of the case, and you're also certain no sane person could disagree. You go to court for two weeks, and after being bored as fuck you're ready to get this verdict done.

You walk into the jury room, prepared to leave almost immediately, when half the women in the room (including the forewoman, whom you already hated and didn't understand how she got elected) starts shrieking about his guilt. All the men in the room agree that he's innocent, even the black guy, but these pedantic women keep shrieking. This goes on for days, all the while you're bleeding cash, and the forewoman jokes around with the judge, then demands to have jury instructions printed because she wants everyone to have homework. I'd lose my fucking mind.

You might be right, but Nick is giving a solid alternative to traditional media. If it's between Nick's stream and the traditional media, I would rather people support Nick. One of the reasons traditional media is still around is because boomers are comfortable with it, Nick getting mainstream attention can only help expose more people to alternatives, in my opinion.

I’ll take a few grifters with identities, accountability, and some grain of moral compass over the veil of the faceless MSM exclusively “covering” this story.

The non-commented streams are perhaps the ideal... but without someone to give legal context, the claptrap spouted by the prosecution and the ineptitude of the defense would be lost to the populace.
