Not even American, and even I can understand that Kyle - as an American - absolutely had a right to defend himself against two fucking grown men who decided to attack him because his politics didn't coincide with theirs.

Godspeed Kyle, you magnificent bastard.

Fuck the media, BLM, and all their putrid sympathisers who think it's great to burn down people's shit and beat people up as long as they're doing it for "the right side".

The correct decision was reached. Depressing that politics has totally poisoned that fact, and my arguments valuing facts have fallen on deaf ears to whomever I discussed the case with due to their bias. Well they can all cope, sneed and dilate at justice being reached.

@Gehenna what would an internship like that even look like?
In my job? A lot of pulling up and printing off specific laws, tweets, messages. Lots of listening to videos and taking notes to be used by everyone else. The interns, paid, are expected to pick up the slack of the office being a bunch of specialists.

Oh, so it'd basically be a foot in the door to a political consultant career (or whatever your official job description is)?

Seeing Kyle collapse broke my heart.

He may have "won" in court but he's not won overall, he's going to face a tough life going forward with PTSD and mental issues from this attack. He's never going to go back to normal, that's gone.

He could very well end up going down a dark path to an early death if he has a combination of trauma and money. He needs to find a way to live a productive life.

Yup! You get to interact with basically every element of it, letting you know where you want to specialize in yourself. And also gives you a general knowledge of the whole process which is useful later.
