UK Queen Elizabeth II deathwatch thread - Speculate on when a beloved old lady will die here.

The Queen spent Wednesday night in hospital for preliminary medical checks and is now back at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace has said.
The 95-year-old monarch returned from hospital at lunchtime on Thursday and is "in good spirits", the palace added.
The Queen was said to be "disappointed" after cancelling a visit to Northern Ireland on Wednesday.
She was given medical advice to rest for a few days, after a busy schedule of public engagements.
In a statement on Thursday night, Buckingham Palace said: "Following medical advice to rest for a few days, the Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits."
The Queen was seen by specialists at the private King Edward VII's Hospital in central London, about 19 miles (32km) from Windsor. Her admittance is understood not to be related to coronavirus.
The overnight stay was said to be for practical reasons and the Queen was back at her desk undertaking light duties on Thursday afternoon.
The King Edward VII's is a private hospital in London's Marylebone used by senior royals, including the Queen's husband, the late Duke of Edinburgh, who received treatment there earlier this year.
It has been a busy period of official engagements for the Queen.
She was pictured hosting a Global Investment Summit at Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening alongside Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
An official record of the Queen's diary showed at least 15 other formal events during October.
On Wednesday, a Buckingham Palace spokesman said the monarch had "reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days".
He said the Queen was "disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland" - which would have involved an overnight stay.
She is expected to lead a royal delegation to the Glasgow COP26 climate change summit in two weeks' time.
Earlier this week, the Queen declined a magazine's award of Oldie of the Year, saying "you are only as old as you feel".
She "politely but firmly" turned down the award, but sent the Oldie magazine a message with her "warmest best wishes".

Just a preliminary thread for now, but it's worth keeping an eye on, pretty sure this was how it started with Philip...

I have never seen one. I always thought they were live?
They were at one point but I think they've been pre-recorded for a while.

EDIT: Here we go, theme is picked months in advance so archive footage can be gathered and the speech can be writen. The speech is filmed days before Christmas. So it could be Charles reading his mother's last speech.

I was under the impression that she had mostly retired from official duties a few years ago.
She had, which was the first sign that a transfer is being prepared for.

However, Rememberance Sunday is something that the Queen has always turned up to in one form or another. It's usually considered the most imprtant day in the Royal calendar and for Her Maj to bow out of sitting on a balcony is a bit weird.

She'd clearly just been making the most of the nice weather Saturday and been doing some drive by purse snatchings on an e-scooter. Unfortunately she got spotted grinding on a swan to clear one jump and after a spirited police pursuit in which she personally increased diversity within the Met by murdering a dozen white officers she hurt her back a little power slamming one of them into the Thames which she attempted to treat with her mother's home remedy of "enough gin to kill every illegitimate royal in Europe."

So it was concluded best to let her lie in.

This Lizzard bitch can't die soon enough. Appearently the Royals are BIGTIME pedophiles and into eugenics which ironic because they are bunch of inbred trash. Charles who is basically serving as king now and he is taking a commanding role in The Great Reset. He may be the originator of this plot agianst mankind as he and his dead (and now burning in hell) father Prince Phillip are on record stating their desire depopulate the Earth. Fuck the royals!

Media Doctor uses REASSURE!
The Queen's arms should be tan, not blue.

In an increasingly plausible future where Charles ascends to the throne, the prudent, self-sacrificial course of action would be for him to play the unpopular role (at least within his extended family) of reformer, slimming downing and modernising parts of the monarchy, allowing his son, William, to eventually assume the mantle of king without any bad blood.

He would also do well to belatedly assume his mother's air of neutrality, which has established the monarchy as a point of stability and national identity over several decades of social and political upheaval. I am not a monarchist but I see this as the function of the Royal Family, beyond, of course, drawing tourists to the gates of Buckingham Palace, where a small number can be rounded up and sacrificed to various Roman Gods to ensure the continued semi-prosperity of our backsliding nation. For a public figure, Elizabeth has managed to maintain an impressively inscrutable veneer. You can infer what her opinions might be on certain subjects, but who the hell knows what she really thinks. She could be an ardent Napalm Death fan, or enjoy the novel adaptations of the Police Academy films, but you'll never hear about it.

In practice, Charles has a track record of sticking his oar into political issues and is liable to undermine support for the monarchy and create problems for himself.

This was explored by Andrew Davies in his novel 'To Play the King', which forms part of his House of Cards trilogy (the book was dramatized for the UK version of House of Cards) in which a thinly-veiled Charles ascends to the throne and immediately begins banging heads with Prime Minister Urquhart. It does not go well for the newly-crowned monarch.

He's on record as wanting to do exactly that. It's one of the complaints Ginge and Whinge have against the firm; under his proposed changes, little Archie will never be titled Prince.

I have a theory that Her Maj Lizzy 2, is waiting for Biden to pop it, before she goes. Just as the yanks kick up their national day of mourning the passing of a President, she will 'hold my beer' and show what a real funeral and mourning period is. All while overshadowing Biden because he farted in her country.

Slay Kween

Nah she's holding out for her Platinum Jubilee.

She knows the proles won't be happy if they are denied an extra bank holiday. Dead or not.

Nah, they'd be retarded to take that away, especially given the actual jubilee date has already passed.
Fuck you I'm still taking it.
If she does pop her clogs before they’ll probably just move the extra day from June back to May. We can thank Teresa May for not getting the day of the queens funeral as a day off though.
