There are superintelligent kids who enroll in college at 12 and succeed, but I still wouldn't feel comfortable, say, trying them as adults. Different parts of the brain develop at different rates; a very book-smart kid is still a kid in terms of foresight and emotional maturity. Of course, Jazz is none of these things and was admitted solely for money and woke points, but it's not unheard of for someone to be smart enough for Harvard and also developmentally juvenile.

I bring up the puberty blockers because TRA propaganda is so good at obscuring what they actually do. Even people on here sometimes forget that they aren't just cosmetic. Jazz's brain has been fucked up in ways far beyond what's obvious. All the existing research on puberty blockers in children covers kids who eventually resumed natural puberty. There is no research whatsoever on kids who never go through puberty at all. No one has any idea what Jazz's mental landscape and thought processes are actually like, and unless the research climate changes dramatically, no one ever will.

The puberty blockers are the linchpin of the abuse for me. It's one thing to butcher a child. It's on another level entirely to drug that child into a state where they may never be able to cognitively comprehend the extent of what's been done to them. It's a fucking modern-day lobotomy, and Harvard of all places is trotting out its result for woke points.

Not to sperg about the private colleges in the US but mental capacity is not always important. Harvard has an acceptance rate of less than 5% but 33% of the people accepted have had (a) parent(s) graduate from the same place (source). Of course, you would assume that people that go to Harvard will have smarter kids than average but statistically (considering how wide their application pool is) it would be surprising if they are that overrepresented in terms of mental capacity.

I understand that victims of child abuse should be held responsible if they perpetuate it as adults, but how much of an adult is Jazz, really? After missing crucial stages of brain development? He's chronologically an adult, but so are people with severe Down syndrome. There's a real chance Jazz may actually lack the cognitive capacity to be held accountable.

Honestly, if Jazz actually does go to college, I think it'd result in a gradual flunking out. His infamy and appearance would result in people staring, never saying anything particularly cruel, but sometimes a stare can say more than words ever can.

Then, of course, is the workload. Harvard is a school for the best, which results in everyone competing to be the best of the best, something that a diversity acceptee like Jazz will never be able to relate or live up to. Being isolated both socially and academically, I honestly think Jazz will sort of freeze. He won't leave his dorm to go to class, and he won't socialize unless necessary. In a place where you feel so different, would it not make sense to ice out reality and pretend these issues don't exist?

I believe that Jeanette knows, or at least suspects, that this is a very real possibility for her daughter-son and is terrified that Jazz may be too broken even to be capable of a gradual flunking. In her heart, she knows that Harvard will end not with a whimper but with a bang.
