Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Man if TCC were still up we could all eyeball some phenzapam and bid on grand pianos in his honor.

looks like TCC is still churning along fine to me....

I think it's quite funny that nobody even tried to blame the old new zealand farms for this one, not even in a half-assed, roundabout way. That's how much people cared. Even some emulator programming socks tranny with barely a thread and who just pretended to kill himself caused more wrath. This thread is going kinda in circles because the cow will obviously not produce any milk anymore. I low-key hope for a slapfight between maplewife and momtax about the inheritance, but the chances that that'll happen in any kind of interesting way are probably very low. People might still come forward to air dirty laundry about him, but even if that happens chances are it'll just be more degenerate shit that will be absolutely surprising to nobody. If Lowtax would've spiraled down longer, it would've been funnier. There was still a lot of potential there and police-drunken Lowtax televised carchase would've been amazing. As usual, he took the lazy shortcut.

Lowtax, as disappointing in death as in life. Who would've thought.

I wonder what movie would be playing in the theater he came heavy(er) to and how he dressed for it. Or would he go for something like a gamestop, church, courthouse or something?

I don't remember how I found SA, but the thread that made me stick around was about Nick Pacione, a delusional wannabe writer with a room temperature IQ who styled himself as Chicago's Lovecraft. It was basically a proto Farms thread. Funny how things work out. Thanks for that I guess, Lowtax!

Has his first wife commented on his suicide? She seems to have disappeared off the internet (probably smart on her part)
Ashli is in contact with her. I think Ashley's message to the SA forums was sorta a joint thing ("we all loved Rich when we first met him" or whatever).

If you hadn't mentioned the name, I'd assume you were talking about Zack Parsons. What finally made me stop reading the SA frontpage circa 2008 or so, was Zack making *literally every article he wrote* into a poorly done Lovecraft pastiche. The last straw for me was when he took a premise that had some real comedy potential (fictional postings from a Craigslist-type site operated in a prison) and managed to turn even that into store brand Lovecraft. https://www.somethingawful.com/series/conex-convict-connections/

The thing that turned me off to Parson's Lovecraft-theft is he over used doing "Void in place of description". There are times when its good to let the reader fill in details themselves, but Parsons never knew how to describe what was going on.

I don't expect much actual content from here on, but I did stumble on this. The OP posts in QCS asking if the gofundme could be made an announcement on the forums instead of a sticky in GBS.

The only person I can think of that would be liable to bring "legal action" would be Momtax, especially with the police reports where she tries to rat out Ashli for being a green card grifter. This post says it's a precaution, so it seems unlikely that she's said anything yet. Mom did threaten at least one person that donated to it when it first went up, crying about how Ashli has money or whatever so she's not entitled to her own property that was stolen from her. I guess she quit doing that, possibly after goons contacted her, but that's just speculation. It would be fitting if another lolcow that just couldn't shut the fuck up and let his thread die be extended by Momtax's blustering and bullshit keeping it open.

Not to mention old school gimmick poster Lovecraftian Journal Poster did it far better than Zack ever could. That account and Adventures of Jesus were the absolute shiznit.
