Why do they care? This case isn't really related to Jacob Blake at all other than the fact it happened during the riots in his name. If anything, it's Jacob Blake's fault that those rioters were killed. If he didn't try to kidnap his girlfriends kids and threaten people with a knife none of this shit would have happened.

When someone breaks into your home to help themselves to property you may have worked your whole life for, they made a conscious decision that the risks involved were worth the possibility of personally enriching themselves. You and any means you choose to use are just the other side of that transaction when that possibility comes up short.

If you don't want to get killed by people who don't want you stealing their shit, not stealing their shit is the easiest possible solution and costs absolutely nothing. Anyone telling you otherwise is just fishing for a fucking excuse.

One of the things that baffles me about this case is that all these brainlets look at Rittenhouse and unironically believe he is a “right wing death squad dork.” You don’t have to be an expert at reading people to immediately recognize how absurd that is, it’s absurd on its face (or, in this case, on his face). He doesn’t have the eyes of a man who would kill for sport, nor even for politics. I don’t think I’m delusional for saying this, I’m sure other people understand what I mean

He was a dumb kid who was arguably in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that's just a prudence consideration. He had every legal and moral right to be there, he had every legal and moral right to have the gun he had, and when terrorists tried to murder him, he had every legal and moral right to shoot the motherfuckers.

The opposite legal argument is basically the same one hurled at every rape victim that she shouldn't have been skimpily dressed in a dark alley. She'd still have the right to shoot the rapist.

Pure political brainwashing imo. You don't need to be an expert to look at someone's body language and have a good estimation of what they are like/thinking. It's a built in survival/social mechanic to read someone's behavior and make a snap judgement about it.
