probelm with the gop is when it comes to anything except tax cuts or defence spending , they are no for anything else. Here is the thing the people hate the status quo, since the gop wont even attempt to sell thier own vision of a unversal healthcare system for example. every normie, blames them. is that really it...? My take on it was that their culture changed. they weren't always glorifying drug and thug activity, iirc. They genuinely did have cultural contributions, such as jazz music. I guess i'm thinking this way because of how their music changed? there was also a lot of black church communities. more so than there are now anyway.

I graduated from high school in the early 2010s and it was this bad where I was, granted I lived in a majority black city back then so it is definitely on the extreme end of things. Black kids openly selling pills and weed at lunch break and between periods in the halls, carrying around knives and brass knuckles (guns were still highly verboten and no amount of melanin would save you there, though that didn't stop me from seeing a few handguns get flashed), gang initiations happening behind detached buildings and of course, if a white kid was involved in any of this, they suddenly decided to enforce the zero tolerance policy, I got in one fight with someone who tried to steal my fucking shoes and I was threatened with expulsion. It took something pretty serious for the school to actually do something to one of these poor black angels that were threatening to stab each other or drive to the other's grandma's house and magdump into her car (things I personally witnessed in fucking English class, of which I was one of two white people in a class of 33.) The cops they had on the school grounds were there to make the parents happy, not to actually do anything. If something serious popped off, they'd call for backup instead of doing their jobs and as a result, I got to see a kid get hospitalized when someone decided to crack his skull open with brass knuckles and he was never really the same after that.

This was all in junior high, by the way. I managed to talk my family into putting me in parochial school until I graduated because I'd rather get yelled at for being a fag by the preacher running the school than get jumped and beaten so someone could join the folk nation or whatever.
