The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Bruce Straley was his tard wrangler and he left. He was co-creator but Druckmann has gone out of his way to pretend he created TLoU all on his own.
Druckmann is an autist who wanted to kill Elena in Uncharted and make it an angsty revenge story, that's what Druckmann wants to make EVERY story. He also wanted to make TLoU1 about Tess hunting down and torturing Joel. I'm sure the reason they're already remaking TLoU1 is to change it to Neil's shitty version.
Bruce had to constantly keep Druckmann in check and Neil has never stopped being angry about it.
Good to know that he was a nutcase from the very beginning, I thought he just went crazy since the first game.

Out of curiosity, is Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy worth playing? I'm not sure how much fuckery is in them...

Druckmann just wants to make a film. He only cares about the surface level because he doesn't give a shit about game mechanics except for "people like violence in video games, isn't that sad?" message which totally hasn't been done to death.

Cycles of revenge. Wow, Druckmann made a shitty version of East of Eden with zombies. Oh yea, and The Road.

I don't know if it is this thread or others, but the argument why mainstream gaming writing sucks is because most of these people are failed screenwriters isn't far off from the truth.

Yes, when I said "we all know why that was removed" it pretty much was because Druckman realized most people would automatically kill her and that between Abby and Tranny Mulan, they were supposed to replace Joel and Ellie as the 'stars' of TLOU.

Really I wouldn't say it's anything even truly unique about Druckman as it is with the ongoing progressive woketivism bullshit within media that's been going on ever since Gamergate. Look at how many properties are having their time-tested male lead characters getting undermined and removed to make way for progressive female, usually non-white replacement characters that speak to a very specific niche audience. Look at what happened with Dr. Who when The Timeless Children literally destroyed continuity all to make the OG Doctor an exploited black girl.

It also shows that Neil doesn't give a shit about the people who play the games, he just wants to be hailed as a genius for making 'interactive experiences' that people 'don't have fun playing' based on his own interviews. Multiplayer was the most popular thing about the original game, but we're how long after TLOU2 released and there isn't even a peep about that being added to TLOU2? Meanwhile, Ghosts of Tsushima added that shit in for free and that game won the praise of the gaming community because it understood it was a GAME and the purpose of a GAME is to make people want to play it. TLOU2 does everything in its power to make you want to stop playing because everybody in the game is a piece of shit.
Neil is a miserable hack who wants to be the next Spielburg and literally feels that his Jewish blood entitles him to it. He sees all media but the "important" ones of TV and Film as stepping stones and plebian garbage.

He's arguably the most incompetent and pathetic narcissist in gaming and in writing right now.

Why is he so infatuated with Gigantor? He created Joel & Ellie, yet he was more than happy to fuck them over.
Honestly, it shouldn't be too surprising that he loves Abby and considers her his best character, given his views on other female video game characters (he even supports and gets inspiration from Anita Sarkeesian).

This is especially funny because all three of these characters Quiet, Kasumi, and Cortana have more realistic female bodies than Abby.

Just saying but even in a movie sense, TLOU2 would be a shit movie, like Green Book-levels of dogshit. So it has no reason to exist, both as a videogame and as a movie.
Which is why I'm legitimately still surprised that the Chernobyl mini-series guy signed on to do a TLOU series. Because we all know it leads to 2 which is a complete shitshow. The only way it could be good is to radically change so much that it barely even resembles the original property.

Which would make Neil seethe.
I hope Sony does not bring this to steam. Let this shit stay on the PS4.
Conversely...I want this to happen. Because then modders can get to the actual assets of the game.

Just imagine the memes.

That really seems to be the gist of these super-feminists in the entertainment industry. They just are trying to get leverage to push their stupid ideals in film and TV and are poisoning everything around them.

Truly, Abby is the modern Mary Sue.

Did he really want to fridge Elena? That's not very feminist of you, Neil.

Also if that's true then it's weird he wanted to do a revenge story based around Elena's death when there was a perfectly fine revenge story in Sam being bitter that he was left behind when Nate and Rafe escaped from the jail in Panama. Especially since it seems that was Amy Hennig's original intention for UC4 but I guess because it was Amy's idea he had to trash it.
Druckmann is a fake feminist, I can almost guarantee you this guy has a bunch of dirty laundry hidden away and is using an SJW guise as a smokescreen. We've all heard the reports of how badly he treats his slaves employees, and some of the fucked up shit he puts them through (such as watching gore/snuff films). Would not be surprised at all if a report comes out naming him as a sex pest.

And always thought him wanting to kill Elena was laughable, edgy bullshit. Thank god his tard wranglers prevented it, but unfortunately they're all gone now so he's free to run roughshod and destroy the studio from within.

I know that, at least according to sites like TV Tropes, if they aren't muscular, then them doing all those action maneuvers is seen as "unrealistic", along with it being seen as sexist. Course, try to point out how unrealistic it would be for someone like Abby to have that kind of a body type, especially in the apocalypse, and they'd complain that "you're asking for realism in a story with zombies in it."

"When does this never ending cycle of violence stop?" said the videogame person

"when I have all the trophies" says the player.

If you ever feel like a hack remember Druckman wrote "revenge is bad" and thinks it's profound.
If you ever feel like a hack, remember that but that also Druckman basically lets Abby get away with revenge and not feel an ounce of remorse for the fact all but one of her 'friends' ends up paying with their lives for her actions.

Something about male feminists just disgusts me, its like when you see someone's anime profile pic and you see what they are jerking off to, when you see a male feminist's work you can see that too

I just know that scene where Jill gets throatfucked by a monster in RE3 Remake was not directed by a woman, is what im saying

It is kind of funny how TLoU2 tells this "revenge bad" kind of moral, but it shows the polar opposite, i mean how is it possible that the one character that actually got her revenge came out on top and got away with it? while the other character who decided to "stop the cycle of violence" lost everything and didn't find peace in the end?

One could argue that only hack writers use the "revenge bad" kind of plot, but i think you have to be a special kind of rétard to tell "revenge is bad" and show the opposite in your work.

Well, the counter argument there as said repeatedly by the game's defenders is that the purpose is to show nobody is inherently good...but yeah, that just doesn't jive with the blatant disrespect the game shows to its own audience by killing a beloved character, slaughtering a bunch of people with the game trying to make you feel like a piece of shit while doing it (and offering no alternative path to give this any weight whatsoever), and then at the very end snatching it away WHILE also subjecting the surviving fan favorite character to lose everything to an absurd point (the guitar thing is hilarious in how "oh no she can't play without all her fingers on one hand" and then people promptly demonstrated how fucking possible it is both with her injured hand and her opposite hand).

The biggest problem with TLOU2's story is that it doesn't pay any respect to what the audience is invested in. I think everybody fully expected Joel to die, but it should have been in some heroic move to save Ellie, not getting shot in the back by being OOC and then clubbed to death by this roided out psychopath obsessed with killing Joel over the ending of the last game (which she didn't even exist in), while the psycho bitch also nearly kills a pregnant girl for no good reason and is only stopped by Tranny Mulan and also has a pointless sex scene (where she gets the husband of a pregnant woman to cheat).

Also, biggot sandwiches. This is the middle of the fucking apocalypses, nobody's going to fucking give a shit about social causes, there is no society for those causes to even EXIST in anymore.

I don't remember where I read it but I remember someone saying that back in the day writers had experienced some tough shit first hand, Tolkien fought in WWI and some say the famous "I can't belive I'm gonna die fighting alongside an elf. How about alongside a friend?" line came from an exchange between a french and a british soldier. true or not the guy did experience war first hand. Meanwhile today we have pampered first world soyboys whose most traumatic experience was getting misgendered at Starbucks, and thats how you end up with lines like "bigot sandwiches"

Yeah, I definitely know the scene from LOTR where Sam, Frodo, and Golum/Smegol are walking through the swamps full of dead bodies, that was taken DIRECTLY from Tolkien's experiences in WWI.

TLOU was pitched first as a ICO & Night of the Living Dead game to George Romero.

Neil just did a Sonichu and George found the idea shit.

Old plot of the game had the men & Ellie be immune to the virus.

All zombies were women which the women in Naughty Dog didn't find funny or great.

There's like a 90% chance Neil is fucking Halley Gross, the feminist co-writer for his loli lesbian games. I look forward to the eventual metoo shitshow
