Shit like this is why I cry out in frustration. No, not on his support of BLM, I can understand that as the rage of people who don't know the sheer parade of bullshit that caused the current african communities problems.

No, I am frustrated because this would have been a -great- time for the left to reach out to the right to do something about legitimate issues with the criminal justice system. Rather than seeing the absolute scumfuck that was Binger and Kraus and going "Perhaps we can fix this, because it legitimately -fucks- black people as well" they instead make a racism narrative.

It's the Chauvin shit all over again. The opportunity to reach across the aisle and seek out actual change is -right fucking there-, and instead they snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory by being fucking screaming idiots.
Strange. You appear to be suffering from the delusion that the people involved want change.

They do not. If something gets fixed they lose the ability to grift.

Having to admit Kyle did nothing wrong or at least, was the least to blame for what happened that night would also break their narrative of 'BLM riots were actually peaceful protests and all the violence was solely because of the police and white supremacists' so hard that they have no choice but to double down in newer, increasingly more exceptional ways. The moment Kyle started becoming infamous for what he did that night and the right rallied around him simply pretending this never happened at all was no longer an option.
Probably the best way they could swivel towards something closer resembling the truth and still preserve that narrative would be to lay the blame on Rosenbaum for being an instigator who was only there to start shit and destroy things and wasn't really a part of the protest.

He doesn't name names, but in one of his reddit posts Grosskreutz implies this was part of the problem, saying the part of the reason this happened was that there were people who came to just start fires and mayhem.

They could even still say "Huber and Grosskreutz acted in good faith thinking they were disarming an active shooter" and it atleast wouldn't be complete nonsense spun out of whole cloth like the "Kyle is a murderous Nazi who shot into a crowd of people just to sate his bloodlust" claims.

The fact that they're still sticking to this "Rosenbaum was a sweet gentle hero fighting for black lives" shit is beyond the pale. The guy was an unhinged, child rapist, mental patient who went there to start shit, and then finally fucked around with the wrong kid and found out.

I am being stupid to expect atleast a little bit of sense from insane ideologues though.

I do wonder what more tepid progressives who realized they were wrong about the case think when they see these psychos screaming blatant misinformation and baying for this kids blood. I don't have high hopes they'll be brave enough to stand up for the truth, they're too scared of being called a Nazi racist bootlicker. It's more important to them to be seen as good and righteous rather than to do the actually good and righteous thing and stand up for the truth.

The people in charge do not want change because they get money from it. The rank-and-file do want change but are misled as to how to get it.

Cross-posting from the riot thread:
After relative silence the past two days it seems something bad related to the Rittenhouse trial might finally be happening.

This happened at a parade not related to the trial, but given the proximity of Waukesha to Kenosha (National Guardsmen were stationed in Waukesha in case rioting occurred in Kenosha) I have to wonder if this is related. Definitely something to pay attention to.
There was some sort of incident roughly 30 minutes ago in Waukesha, roughly an hour away from Kenosha. Involved a car ramming into people and according to multiple sources shots were fired. Incident was at a parade related to Thanksgiving or Christmas, not the Rittenhouse trial but with all the violent rhetoric that's come out related to Rittenhouse I'm worried this is directly related.

Unimaginably suspicious....

Grifters at the top, would-be-grifters immediately below, with the rest being useful idiots. And half the time when the useful idiots move up they become grifters-in-waiting.

It won't get better anytime soon.

I think they agreed to this as part of their fundraising efforts before Richards came on as counsel.

Richards is strongly against all of it and I hope he talked some sense into the kid and his mom.

The problem is that the crowd funding is what allowed Kyle to pay the millions in legal bills to begin with. The money for those legal fees didn't come from the kindness of Richards heart.

This has always made me wonder: At what point did the establishment dems abandon the entire concept of consent of the governed?
They never believed in it. Look at the support of gun control. What would happen if they got their way and you disagreed? They'd send geared up men after you and kill you.

Fuck them. Everything they do is in bad faith, and it's a terrible idea to work with the left on anything.
You know I would feel bad laughing at this interview if Huber wasn’t a complete piece of shit that’s victimized his friends and family for his whole life. “This is all I have left of my son.” I bet him and Hannah Gittings are in a feud over the skateboard. View attachment 2739208
Is that all he has because his son didn't amount to anything?

So does anyone think the salt dispensers on twitter will honor their word? Go to conservative rallies and shoot them up? Try to hunt down Rittenhouse and the judge in person?

Or is it just posturing?

The people in charge do want change for the sake of power. But it's not going to be the change that the rank-and-file think they are fighting for. The rank-and-file is not going to like the change they get, but they'll have to pretend that they do or else they will be labeled the enemy.

Why do all the loonies have such a bad relationship with their parents?
"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved"
