The kid brings up a good point.
People are so caught up with their new personal demon Kyle that don't realize the implications of this.

LittleBinger and SourKraus knew the eyes of the nation were on them, yet they still blatantly violated Kyle's 5th and 6th amendment rights, committed Brady violations, suborned perjury, and attempted witness tampering.

If they were so open about it in a nationally televised trial, imagine some random black dude getting railroaded by an equally scummy DA.

Also, have a meme:

Yup. Though unfortunately using this case as a jumping off point for common ground discussion so that we could fix it probably isn't in the cards.
They had their opportunity with Chauvin/Floyd, but they squandered that, too.

This kind of gave me a new perspective on criminal defense attorneys. Most of their clients are probably guilty. But what a lawyer should be doing is making sure the states plays by the rules so when there is an actual innocent person arrested, they don't get railroaded. Inversely, if they have a super guilty person arrested, they don't get released because the state fucked up dotting their Is and crossing their Ts.

Barnes was right about that at least - the kid is totally innocent and idealistic and doesn't have a cynical bone in his body.
I really hope he doesn't grow bitter over the years. Based on how hard his life has been up until this point, and based on how he's handled himself throughout this whole shitshow, he's resilient. I pray he holds onto that.
He has an outstanding case for slander and libel against dozens and more media figures. Barnes doesn't know WTF he's talking about.
He represented some of the Covington kids and won. You can disagree with him, but he has experience with this.

Since Hollywood is rallying around Pedobaum what route are they going to take for the inevitable movie? I see two potential paths, a total whitewash of Rosenbaum, Huber and Grosskreutz that mainly focuses on fictionalized versions of their life or just having it be wholly fiction based on ''''true'''' events and swapping Kyle out to be a peaceful but armed black BLM protester and making the 3 to be white supremacist MAGAs instead but keeping their criminal pasts the same.
Directed by Roman Polanski and starring Kevin Spacey as Rosenbaum.

I don't think this was posted yet...

A former Virginia officer who was fired for donating to Kyle Rittenhouse's defense fund wants his job back, a report says
  • The former Virginia cop who was fired after donating to Kyle Rittenhouse's defense fund wants his job back, the Daily Mail reported.
  • Norfolk Police Lt. William Kelly was fired from his job in April.
  • Rittenhouse was acquitted from charges connected to fatally shooting three people, and injuring another on Friday.
A former Virginia cop who was terminated after donating to a legal defense online fund for Kyle Rittenhouse is now calling for his job back, according to the Daily Mail.
As Insider previously reported, Lt. William Kelly of the Norfolk Police Department was fired in April after it was revealed per The Guardian that he made the anonymous $25 donation on a Christian crowdfunding website called GiveSendGo.His identity was brought to light following a data breach of the website, which showed that he used his official email address.
In a comment on the crowdfund, Kelly said, "God bless. Thank you for your coverage. Keep your head up. You've done nothing wrong. Every rank and file police officer supports you. Don't be discouraged by actions of the political class of law enforcement leadership."
Rittenhouse was acquitted on charges in relation to the fatal shooting of two men and injuring a third during a protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin in August 2020. The protest happened during a time of anti-racism demonstrations throughout the US and more specifically, after the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
After Kelly was let go from the department, the crowdfunding site "GiveSendGo" started to collect money for the officer, which currently has raised $113,259. Now, months later, Kelly told the Daily Mail that he donated to the fund to help cover his legal fees, adding that he gave the money anonymously so the department was not associated with the donation.
" I was interested in giving him the chance to defend himself in front of a jury," Kelly told the outlet. "I know that lawyers are expensive, and it's hard sometimes to get the message out there. I wanted to make sure that he had the means necessary to make his claim in court."

According to the report, Kelly filed a grievance, in which he noted that the chief of police was pictured in uniform holding a sign at a BLM protest last year, stating that "the hypocrisy is dumbfounding."
He added: "The sign demanded justice for that person, but that shooting was still under investigation to determine whether or not that officer should be charged criminally. It's very inconsistent," Kelly told the Daily Mail.

Which is one huge fucking missed opportunity. I'd think that social justice types would hate Binger and his bullshit slimeball tactics just as much as everyone else. We can all agree that that shit needs to stop and is probably, more than anything else, the very reason why any injustice in the justice system exists in the first place.

But nope. We're dealing with people who think what they're told, and are by choice hermetically insulated from exposure to any alternative thought.

Not sure if this was posted, but with Kyle’s “I support BLM” statement on Tucker, I think this article is relevant again. Gives a lot more insight into who he is and who he isn’t. The whole proud boys 👌 debacle is making a lot more sense — wrong place, wrong time. They truly couldn’t have picked on a more innocent kid.

You know I would feel bad laughing at this interview if Huber wasn’t a complete piece of shit that’s victimized his friends and family for his whole life. “This is all I have left of my son.” I bet him and Hannah Gittings are in a feud over the skateboard. View attachment 2739208
if you cared about your son at all you wouldn't have raised him to be a repeat offending felon.
like, wasn't huber the guy with convictions for domestic abuse committed against his own grandma? really having a hard time believing that anybody misses this subhuman.
