“He was fleeing another incident.” Who gives a fuck, he intentionally ran down those people. If he was fleeing the cops, he could have honked his horn and tried to get them to move aside. I doubt a bunch of dancers, band nerds, and grandmas were going to try to stop the vehicle. This tragedy is a failure of our criminal justice system to lock up the monsters that roam our streets. If we don’t throw people in jail for illegally possessing a gun as a felon, illegal discharge of a firearm, and domestic violence who should we be locking up?

Waukesha Suspect Misinformation Spreads as Fake Photo of SUV Driver Shared

Misinformation and disinformation is circulating on social media after a red SUV sped through a Christmas parade in the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday, killing at least five people and injuring more than 40 others.

A "person of interest" is in custody, Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson said at a news conference on Sunday night. However, he did not release the person's name or give details about the person, or indicate a possible motive for the incident.

Since then, false information about the perpetrator has been posted on Twitter, including some claiming that he has been identified as Sam Hyde.

Several anonymous Twitter accounts have posted a picture of a white man in a red vehicle and identified him as the driver of the red vehicle who sped through the parade.

But others on the social media platform have noted that the man pictured is Hyde, a comedian who is the subject of a long-running hoax that identifies him as the perpetrator following mass killings in the U.S.

Hyde initially gained notoriety for mocking TED Talks, but he has since become known for the "Sam Hyde is the shooter" meme.

His name has been invoked by anonymous Internet trolls after several mass shootings over the past several years. In 2017, a Texas congressman fell for the recurring hoax and mistakenly told CNN that Sam Hyde was the gunman who opened fire in a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.

Mia Cathell, an editor for conservative news site The Post Millennial, posted a tweet showing the image had been doctored to change the vehicle's color from silver to red.

"Internet trolls are spreading disinformation about the #Waukesha driver with a photoshopped image of Sam Hyde, who's often misreported as the perpetrator of mass killings, in a red car," Cathell wrote. "The long-running hoax resurfaces after tragedies."

Journalist Ian Miles Cheong added: "No, Sam Hyde didn't commit the Waukesha attack."

Others urged people to stop speculating and sharing misinformation in the wake of the incident in Waukesha.

"Seeing speculation and blatant misinformation being spread about #Waukesha together with graphic video of the incident," Christian Christensen, an American who is a professor of journalism at Stockholm University, wrote on Twitter.

He added: "Just about as irresponsible as you can get right after a tragedy. Only serves to add fear and uncertainty to an already terrible incident."

Newsweek has contacted Twitter and the Waukesha Police Department for additional comment.

CNN, MSNBC, Don Lemon, Joy Reid, etc. are terrorist sympathizers & radicalizers that need to be shut down. I’m trying not to fedpost, so I’ll say non-violently. Protest their buildings, spread awareness.

Homeschool your kids. If black supremacy violence is going to be terroristic now the next target will be anti-CRT parents at school board meetings. Just like that guy who says he has soldiers “locked and loaded.”

BLM has been saying “no lives matter until our lives matter.” That means your daughter, your son, yourself have no value until you give into whatever crazy demands they have - and even that will never be enough because they’re professional victims. Your life and your family’s life will never matter to them. Act defensively.
Reposted for 100% agreement

I’m trying not to fedpost but I personally don’t really give that much of a fuck what other people choose to say. I can’t blame them at all and basically sympathize completely.

Media already downplaying it.
"... They say that there's some belief that this wasn't intentional, that he didn't mean to hit some of these people, because when you look at the video, it seems like he avoided a number of people."

The guy drove down a massive street with numerous intersections along the way. If he wanted to avoid running over people, he had numerous options to choose from. The fact that he did not is pretty telling.

The sheer faggotry of this media slimeball makes me pretty MATI.

This may open a can of worms but liability laws need to be changed regarding the media because they have too much blood on their hands.

I hate to say it but we e been more or less in a mild civil war for a while now. When you have people openly espousing violence against their political enemies in the media and essentially just covering up for leftist terrorism while actively encouraging it, it’s almost impossible to conclude otherwise.

Just seems like people want to deny saying that because it’s unpleasant and scary and dangerous. But that doesn’t make it untrue.

Not a single article on the MSM front page about this. If that’s not transparent full on civil war behavior I don’t know what is. These motherfuckers want your 9 year old daughters brains splattered on the road, how else can you even fucking interpret their behavior?

Got more Media, Fox, Today Show and Impact BBC.

MSNBC are going with the "Accident" angle.

Nothing much. The guy is a massive tard. Made horrible life decisions. Unsure whether events were because of an action of said decisions or that his poor decisions led him to be resentful at the world and go lone wolf.

True. He could have turned. But have you considered that he is an idiot who makes poor life choices?

At least in the beginning he could have hit far more people but he didn't. He was like a block in before both lanes were filled with dancing grannies.
If there were other people in the car with him, I can see this being a case of them egging him on to take out those white people. It may have started as him mistakenly ending up on a street with a parade (because, let's be honest, how likely is it that he was so involved in the community that he knew a parade was happening that day). By the end, though, it was a conscious decision to run people over.

If he didn't want to kill anyone, he could have turned off that street at some point. He could have just stopped his car. He could have at least honked his horn as he was coming up behind people so they could get at least try to get out of the way first. There are so many things he could have done that would have shown he was just trying to get out of there and really didn't want to hurt anyone.

I think it is pretty obvious that at some point he decided those lives didn't matter to him. At all.
