Yeah I'll admit I wrote it in a biased way because I think it's a ridiculous thing to hold a grudge over. I know about her presence on 4chan, and doing voice recording requests and stuff. The song I meant is the pomf one, it was brought up a lot in discussions about this matter whenever I'd read about it. I remember listening back to it when I was like, 12 lol
I don't really agree that she appealed to the loli crowd that hard at all honestly, and I've looked pretty deep into her past content and actions. Like, her changing her opinion was something that happened over multiple years and her aging from a teenager into an adult, which I think is very fair. I don't remember if she actually ever called them pedos, I do remember in her blog post she did say she was disgusted by those people, which I agree went too far. I just don't think the grudge people hold over this is proportional like whatsoever

Nyanners and Senz had unique voices in a sense that the older they are the more child like they sound.

Both pandering into the specific stereotype group of internet denizen for views and fame. While Senz was neither confirm or deny the existence of “pedo” in her fandom, Nyanners was overreacting and throw those “pedo” guys under the bus when 4Chan and SJW tweeters try to cancel her. Nyanners did what she does best and publicly condemn and shit talk “pedo” she even banned the “loli” words from her discord I believed.

Fast forward, when Nyanners catch the wave and debut her Vtuber model as a loli, flat chest, childlike cat girl, those “pedo” ran a smear campaign against her and call her hypocrite etc. (just YouTube search ‘Nyanners Hypocrite’ and you will see quite a few “pedo” make videos about the incident).

As far as I understand, if Nyanners keep her mouth shut and neither confirm or deny since her Pomf music video is not on the same level of pedo bait like Senz Copypasta, a timeline which she debut as Hololivers for myth is either scary or funny (entertainment value, I’ll say Nyanners antic is the same as the orange chicken minus the menhenra part).

Nux is cringe, but I'm leaning towards siding with him. A public effort to expose and discourage swatters makes more sense to me than a private effort to fully ruin the lives of dumb kids who found a way to get exceptional individual cops to attack people for their amusement.

Furthermore, I think VShojo was just trying to keep this under wraps to avoid embarrassment. Apparently they are too good to make a statement like "CAREFUL, RETARDS, THERE ARE FAKE EMAILS WITH OUR NAME ON THEM GOING AROUND AND YOU GONNA GET SHOT IF YOU REPLY."

Unless someone has more information, I also don't understand how "this year has been hell for" Nyanners because of this situation. It's literally just a basic phishing email that would never effect her.

Wow, that seems like an overly simplistic and one-sided way to put it. Never even heard of the song you are talking about either. I never have watched her nor do I really care about her, but from what I understood/read, she first got popular on and very actively cultivated the 4chan and loli crowd until she got too big and then suddenly turned on them, dragged them through the coals, and actively condemned them, called them pedos, etc. Yes she's allowed to change her opinions, but the knife cuts both ways. Apparently she won in the end as she is still very popular and raking in the dough, but she's certainly made enemies along the way.

To be fair, catering to that audience might work in the short term, but once you reach a certain level of popularity it becomes a case of diminishing returns if not wholly detrimental. Cancellation has gotten to the point that if you don't cut ties cold turkey you're just asking for your life to be legitimately ruined.

I don't think Pippa actively caters to the internet bad boys, it's just shared interests. She doesn't go parroting the based party dogma, she has her own opinions and sometimes they're kinda dumb and sometimes not all that based.

As far as /pcg/ goes, they make cum tributes to her, embarrass themselves and then rrat up theories about how she's abandoning them like Nyanners on practically a daily cycle. There is nothing of value moving from there to Pippa, in terms of support.

The chans are retarded on the best of days so I count their opinion the same as I would rotting garbage. I don't think she would change her style too much, streaming is all about having fun, especially the streamer. Pips enjoys going on tangents that she read about on the chans or elsewhere and she has stated before she wanted to shift her content only to snap back twice as hard. Source is one of her FEAR streams, either #4 or #5, and her audience was the most part receptive of the change and some encouraged it.

Nyanners isn't a 1 to 1 comparison of Pipkin, that's a whole different story.

Interesting to hear. As I said I don't watch her, so all I really know about her I learn from posts here. And in that regard, it feels pretty circle-jerky.
