Let's say that the stabbing is a second-degree case: he gets in an altercation, maybe he's high, maybe he just chimps out that hard. He's got a pretty impressive record, but this is looking like a new peak for him, and at the moment of putting together how fucked he is, he goes into a panic state. From this point on, his only coherent thought is "I need to get the fuck out of here", so he gets in his car and starts barreling down the road. Given that this kind of guy usually isn't a pillar of the community, there's good odds he's not even aware that there's a parade on, so he plows right over the flimsy barricade and keeps going. He runs past most of the parade until he comes across the old ladies in an open formation dominating the street. Given how people in this mental state often experience tunnel vision, I'd wager there's decent odds he didn't even see the kids until after he started swerving, and once he's dumbassed his way into crossing the "don't hit people" instinct, all that's left is the GTFO impulse and he keeps going.

If anyone wants to blow me out on this, then find out where the stabbing took place: the more turns he has to make to get from there to the first video sighting, the weaker this possibility gets.

This is actually what I was looking at as a very likely possibility. I think he entered Main Street around East Avenue, but I can’t fully tell. Police are probably trying to map his route out too. It’ll be interesting to see.

I think the biggest thing that we have against this is his history of running people over while he is pissed. He ran over a baby mama just recently, and someone else this same month. Cop said he tried running him over back in 2011. Fucker seems to like doing it.

I suppose that might also go towards yours if you want to say it is something he just does when he sees red. I think my take is more likely.

It's really appalling that to many people, this kind of tragedy is nothing more than a political "gotcha", these people literally treat casualties like a scoreboard.
This is completely sociopathic.

And it happens on both sides of the political spectrum. Doesn't matter who's the victim, some asshat always pops up going "hurr serves them right! [y] is justice of [x]!", fast forward some time, you get some other fuckhead go "durr serves them right! [z] is justice for [y]!". Rinse and repeat.

How do you explain him traveling towards marching bands and sirens. Tunnelvision or no that would be a pretty major deterrent to any criminal.
