Everything possible has been done to memoryhole it. It is fairly well known in true crime circles.I've watched a ton of crime docs and I have never heard of this.
His deal was different than an obsessive hatred with a particular person. He had a problem with white people, this much is clear from his FB. He professed a desire to "knock them over," even the old ones. It's highly likely that his act was intended to intimidate a group of people he sees an enemy; this is a political tactic and a form of terrorism. It was done to decrease the power of an identifiable group in society.Back to my Joan Crawford analogy: murderer, absolutely. Stalker, yes. Deranged, sure. But terrorist? Not quite. That's not taking to account his hatred for Joan Crawford beyond any political or ideological reason.
Y'all probably thinking: what the FUCK is this nigga talking about in relation to this?
This guy has an extensive criminal record that the state allowed him to roam back into society being a menace to society. His coup de grace was stabbing somebody into driving into a parade killing and endangering several people in the process.
An argument can be made that it IS terrorism because of his Facebook activity. But beyond being a low life criminal with no redeeming qualifications, what possessed him to PLAN to drive through a parade and why?
That's why I'm saying it's up for interpretation with that particular label. But do not ignore that one would hate Joan Crawford enough to occur a domino effect of all this.
You don't need some carefully-laid plan to be a terrorist. There have been impulsive terror attacks made by people who had something go way wrong in their life and then decided that they might as well go out doing as much damage to the enemy group as possible.
To find the truth of this, some questions have to be answered. Where was the perp living that he had this domestic dispute? Did he live close to the parade route or did he have to go out of his way to get there? And was he being chased by police? There should be public information revealing whether or not this is the case. If the parade wasn't near his starting location and he had to go out of his way to get there, it makes no sense that he would be fleeing police and just happen to barrel through the parade. The odds of it being an escape from police gone wrong seem very low to me and if it was far away from his starting point, it's next to impossible that's the case. The only other motivation I can see is terrorism.
