From time to time I check on his youtube archive channel to be amazed how much he dont care about his content. He barely uploads the videos in order. Its an absolute mass and he should be emberrased of it.

Also, its nice to see people still dislike his videos despite the fact they cant see it by default so let me help.

Damn, this really is a rerun of that one time he played blackjack in Yakuza 7. He doesn't even clown mode this much when he exceeds the tips goal by a large amount. He hasn't been this animated while playing a video game in several months and most peculiar of all he was below $10 in tips in that segment. Phil should really consider playing casino simulators if he wants to have fun playing games. Also I empathize with @Piece of Peace during that clip, it's unbelievable how many dumb decisions Phil made while playing fucking blackjack of all things, it's such an easy game when it comes to understanding how to play optimally and how to give yourself the best odds possible yet Phil didn't even know some of the basic rules of that fucking game. Casino pit bosses love people like Phil, mediocre people with high ambitions and an insanely inflated ego and view of their own intellectual capabilities. I bet that he was as much of a walking ATM back when he, according to himself, played blackjack in casinos as he was when he played money matches in the FGC.

Imagine how much fun it would be if he rebranded his channel to online gambling. I'm always amazed when I see a video of somebody dumping hundreds/thousands of dollars in online slots with hundreds of thousands of views. Hell, videos of a damn claw machine in an arcade get millions of views.

The dislike button being removed is meant for the news outlets and other people who pay YouTube to promote their videos. They don't like being massively down voted after paying YouTube to make them popular again so YouTube got rid of them.

So once again, piggy backed his way into another thing that benefits him through no action of his own

The worst thing this has done from a practical point of view is that it's ruined tutorial and how to type videos, when you'd choose something to watch because you need to see a walkthrough or find something out, a quick and easy method of deciding of whether the video is going to answer your question or be click bait shit was to glance down at the like/dislike ratio.

If it overwhelmingly swung towards the dislikes, then you immediately closed the video and searched up another one. Now that it's gone, it's going to make that process more time consuming and longer to figure out what's useful to you or not, there isn't any feature that replaced the dislike button at all, and comments won't always cut it.

Holy shit was that special, exceptionally special, not just how wide awake he got over gambling or how bad he is at blackjack.. DSP is in all seriousness "exceptional" like the switched word not literally exceptional.

This really stuck out to me cause it's a mix of his he can never lose narcissisms and his gambling addicition.

Now I'm not a gambler, I played blackjack with my dad who taught me when I was a wee little shit. What my dad didn't teach me was there's apparently set rules. you HAVE TO hit on below 15 and you HAVE TO stand on 16 or above and if you play by those rules, yes these are the "house rule" you have to win occasionally. you're not going to lose 17 hands in a row.

Ya see here I thought it was some strategy based on the other people at the table and cards showing so you know what cards are in play reducing the possibility of what was still in the deck or face down and ofc a lot of luck but nope I was wrong, ya see this videogame series PP uses to have a deep understanding of asian culture, yet gets confused by a carton of milk, is also wrong.

Which fine yes what ever, it's phil he's just a dumb ass.

but he's save scumming so his OWN logic of "you can't lose this many times in a row" is just exceptional as he's reloading after ever win.

He's resetting time in the game's own reality to when he last won, so he's not losing 17 times in the row based on the game's own "reality" in the game's own "reality" he just won evey time he plays a hand. By his own logic he should be losing the next hand since you "have to win occasionally" which means you have to lose more than you win.

It's like phil is fighting with himself.

Speaking of thinking japan is just like the yakuza series, did he ever play Fist of the north star lost paradise since that is considered a yakuza spinoff game? does he think that future japan from the 80's?

Anywho clips like this is why IMO @Piece of Peace is one of the best restreamers, actually engaging in the insanity that is the DSP stream, letting DSP say his inane stupid shit and reacting to it instead of just using DSP as background noise.

I've been to major tournaments and I've never seen someone play so many money matches. As far as I could tell, most pros will play anybody if they have time. I watched people like Itazan and Problemx sit down at a station for hours playing randoms, and Poongko literally spent an entire day at a station playing people. Shit, I even saw LTG out there. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone refused to play Phil unless it was for money.

Okay, I'm now thoroughly convinced that Phil is absolutely a gambling addict. It's not just mobile games, the dude just simply loves to play games of chance, and it's not from a cushy lifestyle. It's from a being a fucking idiot. He was ALWAYS going to lose everything he had over his gambling addiction, no matter how long it took or what anyone did to slow down the process.

He doesn't keep playing Champions to spite us (okay maybe a little bit), or because of the investment. He's still at it because he just simply doesn't have the ability to stop, or even the ability to recognize that he's an addict. How could he? Look how lit up he is, look how much he's enjoying himself. I was wrong, he's not a slug while playing Champions. THAT is what he looks like playing it. He has such a blast every time, because he's that big of a fucking moron to get off on losing over $100,000 gambling.

Phil is an addict, but he still wasn't lying when he said he legit enjoyed the game. He does. He's so stupid he gets off on throwing away so much money. I'll bet that's the real reason he doesn't fess up. He doesn't want to admit to everyone that he's even dumber than they thought.

He's fucked. He stands NO chance of getting clean, because his addiction isn't even what's driving him to drink so much. It's the fact that people know about it. He's such an imbecile that he has those priorities switched. His addiction is fun for him, and he doesn't connect that to the consequences that DO drive him to get hammered every night.

It is going to so fucking hilarious to watch him lose his condo, his soulmaid, and his livelihood. Sad, but hilarious.

Heads up to everybody surprised by this recent chess story, he's talked about it before. I specifically remember him saying he was in the chess club and he was so good that he started exclusively playing against his teacher, because his fellow students were too easy.

This bullshit story is not new. Bullshit sure, but not new.

Harvard grad here (not bragging. Just saying) It is NOT cheap. When I went (more than 20 years ago now) for tuition, room/board, books etc it was about 65k a year. So yes. It's pricy.

Where DSP went wrong is he basically said he messed up and didn't get in because he applied for financial aid.

FACT: You get accepted into the school BEFORE you have to figure out how to afford it. In fact. Many start applying junior and senior year of high school. They don't say "oh we want to accept him but he applied for financial aid so fuck this guy"

You can absolutely get student loans to attend ivy league schools and many people do take in loans to attend. No surprise here but DSP is obviously lying.

Also I know plenty of guys who graduated and aren't doing well. One guy graduated law school and was working at a smoothie shop.

DSP just assumes anyone graduating is filthy rich. Sure it looks great on a resume and people love to talk about it but it does not guarantee wealth.

Anything Phil knows about ivy league schools would be from Good Will Hunting or The Skulls or something. Surprised he didn't talk about secret societies and janitors doing math problems while on a campus tour.

Edit: there are a lot of grants out there you can apply for. You can also work on campus whether being a tourist guide or research assistant or whatever and the pay use to be better than minimum wage. Lots of kids go there who didn't come from wealth. I love that he applied to Harvard and Yale and "settled" for Fairfield University.

Once again..big shock..dsp lying. I just don't get why he makes up some of the shit he does.

On the bright side. For what he spent on WWE Champions he could have attended 2 years at Harvard! Wouldn't pass any courses that involved language since the words "anything" "isn't" and "this" have been replaced with "nuttin" "ain't" and "thus" (used incorrectly)

Why does that amaze you? What rules have they broken, other than no trolling plans, and they are ridiculed as much as their former pigroach master if not more as the rule states on every page already I think we'd agree, that should mean they are to be denied the ability to post here?

I really appreciate that GoldenColts has become, more or less, an open detractor in Phil's chat without giving him money.

I want to like that too, but, there's a GoldenColts and GoldenNOBLES, are you sure you're not conflating the two and giving one credit for the other's "conversion" that hasn't actually happened? I know this is a very specific question and am too lazy to look up the answer, but I do know Phil explained this detail at length once during a twitch stream.

The real value in Ivy League schools is the networking opportunities. The relationships one makes at Harvard or Yale can mean millions of dollars in future earnings. DSP would not have made a single lasting friend, instead being universally hated by everyone. He could've graduated with honors at Harvard and be in the same spot today.

My thing is, how does Phil feel comfortable sitting on his couch and blowing tens of thousands of dollars while having nothing to show for it? The only thing he can do is privately gloat to a bunch of random idiots on a discord server who also blow money on gatcha games. That's it.

If he's a gambling addict, Las Vegas is cheap as hell to fly to. As soon as you exit the plane there are slot machines in your face right in the terminal. At least you'll have an experience to talk about while blowing your money. Yet DSP literally sits on his ass blowing money in the most laziest way possible and has the audacity to call other people idiots. I imagine what he'd be doing if he didn't start a YouTube channel at the exact perfect time and get lucky. Either following through with his financial degree and end up in jail for scamming people or homeless.

There is no middle ground with the mentality he has.
