My liberal dad thinks the only reason this dude ended up on that parade route was because of a high speed police chase. I have no idea why he assumed that was the case, but he said cops shouldn't engage in those because it leads to tragedies like this.

I think that is the very reason why the media keeps saying he was involved in a domestic incident prior to this. He was fleeing that area, but they want you to assume that he was being chased by cops and it was the cops who forced him into this situation. As far as I know, there has been no actual confirmation of a police chase that pushed him towards the parade route. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

I went looking for some updates on the conditions of some of the victims, I couldn't find anything on twitter so I looked up some gofundme.

**UPDATE** Jessalyn woke up a little yesterday afternoon. She is not fully aware of the severity of her injuries but managed to say, "just glue me back together". Only a child could reference themselves as a little doll in this situation. The innocence of a young girl. Due to her injuries the medical team sedated her again to keep her calm and let her body heal. The family is still at the hospital.

**UPDATE TWO** Amber texted me last night that Jessalyn is “steady at the moment. She has ups and downs”.

Julia is in the fight of her life. She is a victim of the senseless violence at the Waukesha Christmas Parade. Julia was with marching in the parade with her dance team bringing a smile to everyone's face. Because that is who she is. Everyone that knows this little girl knows what joy she brings to the world. She has a heart of gold, a smile that can light up the room and is loved by so many. Julia has suffered brain trauma and is currently in the ICU at Children's Hospital.

My mom, Romelia, was immediately rushed to Aurora Medical Center. She needed emergency surgery upon arrival to the hospital due to blunt force trama that caused internal bleeding in one of her organs. My mom is also being treated for multiple bone injuries including: pelvic fractures, lower spine fractures, wrist fractures and leg fractures. Just last night my mom had 3 surgeries and is currently on a breathing tube as she has many more to come.
