I agree and that second Vshojo statement reeks of butthurt and misinformation to make Nux look unjustified

Look i get Nux is cringe to you lot but fact is hes a shitposter with a heart of gold who likes dunking on people who cross him and his friends i say more power to him

Also I gotta say another reason I believe Nux is that he remained consistent on the issue so far
Vshojo initially praised him and then they 180d on him

If they wanted me to believe them they should have stayed silent and came out with a statement against Nux from the beginning

Yeah I feel the same way, I remember seeing the promos for Phase Connect on youtube a few times before they had debuted and I remember thinking "I hope they're successful but the market already seems kind of oversaturated". And now while some of them have found their audience the JP talents still have very few subscribers and it seems most of their vidoes get only in the few hundreds of views. Kind of depressing, really don't want any of them to fail or get discouraged and quit.

I think it was during one of the FEAR streams that Pippa talked about the oversaturation of vtubers. Hololive alone is a monolith with it's, what, 7 generations, 2 EN generations plus Iyrs, and 2 ID generations. Even VOMS has a second generation. I don't know what it'll take to make this bubble burst.

The JP talents at least get views but I can fully see frustration building as they look at their own numbers and now they're gonna have more competition in their own company. Granted, that's me assuming the worst when in fact they could just be happy to have a fun hobby that pays for itself and makes them a little bit of money too. So until we know otherwise I'll ease up on the doom posting and support them the best I can.

That's really ingenious! I like the work around by green screening yourself and wearing the black latex gloves so you can see the precise movements. It's a lot better than something like Haachama holding a go pro in her mouth while she makes atrocities.

But there is always a youtube channel, a discord, a website, they always have some platform where they brag about it because they need their egos stroked. What was this swatters mistake? This has been a stressful week for many, and I'm confident and proud of the community and the efforts that went towards resolving things efficiently.

My latest video concerned someone that was maliciously impersonating Vshojo, and managed to trick individuals into giving personal information and doxing themselves and getting swatted. With the efforts of everyone involved, I believe this situation can be put behind us with the culprit behind these attacks having been brought to light. I do still fully stand by the need for raising awareness of phishing scams.

I'm incredibly glad Vshojo released a very well constructed cybersecurity statement addressing the situation, and you should all read it.

In regards to my video:
I worked with Vshojo on this for a while, as they mentioned in their statement in response to my video. I did show them my video before posting it, and I was not requested to refrain from uploading. The rumors that I had posted it regardless of being asked not to are untrue. Infact, leading up to the events of posting it, I was apart of a four hour conversation with their chief cybersecurity officer overseen by an executive of Vshojo and one of the members of the group.

I sincerely apologize if my actions have caused any undue stress on anyone, it was not my intention. I was only hoping to contribute to keeping the community safe.

Edit: Fascinating. Look at the comment section applauding him for 'helping VShojo' and saying 'Anyone complaining is bad'. Surely Nyanners isn't going to feel good about public opinion indirectly turning against her. I guess that's what happens when one person makes a public statement and another makes a members-only response.

Pippa's lastest stream, Pokemon one, she was doomposting talking about how talented the next gen will be and how she wouldn't have been able to get past the recruitment process. I'm happy for them, to grow you definitely need more eyes on the Phase Connect company to attract talented people to create fanart and clips, to build a community. The early gens are always hit the hardest because they are right there in the middle of all of these growing pains.

The JP branch's numbers are what you would expect from zero live translations, and I haven't seen any clips or translated clips of them. Phase Connect should hire inhouse an editor and dedicated translators and to pump out more shorts on their main channel. They have a weekly news segment that slipped from weekly to monthly that has translations when a JP is hosting the segment.

More of this, random funny noises to trick people into watching a stream then before they realize it, get redpilled by the rabbit.
