US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The defense's behavior probably didn't help their clients any. Wanting black pastors removed from the courtroom, using flimsy reasoning to get black jurors removed, the 'long, dirty toenails" comment...
Frankly, the men were doomed well before that. Attempting an unlawful citizen's arrest for a crime they had not seen. That was never going to look good to a jury, and made everything from there basically be a foregone conclusion.

If the citizen's arrest was not lawful, and they started with the shotgun, it makes it really hard to argue -against- provocation.

Everything else was just piling onto that basic fact question.

Looks like someone didn't bother to read their own quote:

Categories of people who probably wouldn't do well against the common cold anyway.
No. It can cause even healthy people to die.

Anyone can get sick with COVID-19 and become seriously ill or die at any age.

It can be both worse than the common cold and it can and has killed a full range of people.

Normal, healthy people like you and me have about as much chance of dying from COVID as Biden has of making it to 2024 (i.e. little to none).

Biden has a better chance of getting re-elected than I do of catching CO-VID. But...

And if I'm given a choice between getting a nasty cold for a few days before getting better, and getting a jab that not only doesn't protect you from COVID as much and they want you to think it does (to the point where you have to get boosters forever), but also has a chance of giving me myocarditis, I'm choosing the former option, thank you very much.

That's your choice. I've never seen any of the thousands of people I know of get the shot have myocarditis, I have known healthy twenty and thirty somethings who have contracted it. None had pre-existing conditions and some have ended up with heart failure and lung problems thanks to it.

So I'll take the shot.

Do you REALLY trust people like Binger in the Rittenhouse saga to argue people should be put to death? I am for the death penalty in concept, but do not trust the government enough to do it right.
I'm fine with a very high bar--as in beyond a shadow of a doubt--but it has to exist. Which some people, like the Wakeusha mass murderer, cleared.

A lot of this is reflected here in Wisconsin, and Baris' Wisconsin numbers veer very close to my own. Combined with a solid track record, Baris is probably the most accurate national polling right now.
So we know it's quite unlikely to be Biden or Kamala running in 2024. They'll have to bring someone else in. Even if they're certain they have no chance to win, they won't run a vegetable Biden. If he continues to deteriorate at his current rate, he'll barely be able to speak and trying to make him run would make them look pathetic and more than a bit evil. If they're sure it'll be a loss for them they could put Kamala up in order to get rid of her.

So otherwise, who's the replacement likely to be? People have suggested Corey Booker, Gavin Newsom and Jay Inslee, and possibly Liz Warren,, Buttigieg or Beto. Has there been any research on match-ups between Trump and any of these hopefuls? I figure their best hope is to bring out someone who hasn't been in the national spotlight and puff them up with favorable news coverage. Newsom and Inslee could easily be attacked for allowing their states to degenerate into lawless hellholes covered with tent camps, even before 2020. It'd be great to watch Inslee getting grilled about CHAZ during a debate.

I'm honestly impressed that for all the government distrust, people still think the government can do anything properly anymore.
I think a lot of people are just scared of the potential alternatives to the government we have now, which is why in spite of the whole institution being rotten to the core and pretty damn evil a lot of the time, your textbook normie keeps enough faith in the system for it to continue to exist, but not enough to want to radically change it for the better. Also, bread and circuses and all that.

You don't know thousands of people. Your hyperbole is laughable and you are a liar.

That was always going to go down like that. These fucking morons pulling shit like this is exactly the opposite way of how a citizen's arrest should be done. If you're going to follow the dude, don't get out of your fucking car and shoot the guy with a shotgun. Call the cops and keep them updated on the suspects location. Doesn't matter anymore though, this trial just gutted citizens arrests.

I always had the USA as alignment Chaotic Neutral, China as Lawful Evil, and the Middle East as Chaotic Evil.

Beto's probably the only one on that List which seemed to "work" even in somewhere like Texas (even if he spent 10x Cruz to lose by several %) Only downside is, after a time like this it's going to stick to local dems, and people are wising up to the fruitloops in charge of school district and other "lesser" positions people didn't used to pay attention to thanks to people like the 1776 project and all those nutbars have a big old "D" next to their name and they were busy sheltering rapists and pretending it didn't happen. That's what the modern parlance for politics calls "Cut through".

Buttigeg would be fucked the second they'd talk about the ports and he fucked off to play happy families instead of recognising we're in exceptional times and to go fix shit (even our famously lax PM knows when to pack in a holiday early to sort shit out).

Also, how the fuck did it go that the fucking UK is the one ruling out mandatory vaccines while the US's government keeps trying to push this shit?

Booker is probably the best of that bunch in that he's a blank slate. Newsom might be able to shift blame to Gascon for the high crime rate while continuing to demand more COVID restrictions. Inslee is in similar circumstances.

Buttigieg has no chance due to having no idea how to deal with the supply chain crisis AND is a part of Biden's cabinet. Beta is Beta Gun Grabber.

The Republicans should absolutely turn California into a scapegoat. Largely because the state deserves it. Just be the opposite of every Californian policy.

Meant to post this yesterday, but Campus Reform managed to do a live Q&A in Washington, D.C. talking to college students as to what they think about the rising costs of inflation and the students were not even aware of the higher costs of it.

They even admitted that a few years ago, Thanksgiving dinners were much better to buy and get while Trump was President.

It is fun watching the total demographic collapse of the Democrats. So a bit of info I have collected.

Most Hispanic voters absolutely hate a bad economy. They either came here or their parents came here to get a better life away from the shit Hispanic economies. So they poll particularly poorly on a subject that already polls particularly poorly.

The black vote is increasingly cracking. Faster than expected, possibly only a decade to see a significant split to the point it goes more in line with the current Asian and Hispanic vote, so about a third going Red.

The White vote, which Trump supposedly did worse in, has firmly solidified behind "Anyone but Biden". Largely we have found this is due to suburban voters who didn't like the attitude of Trump, now they go "Fuck yeah, more Trump".

There is not a single demographic that has not seen a swing towards Red.
How is the rebranding the parade attack as a "traffic accident" going in Wisconsin since its in your expertise?

Also, a boomer tier meme.
