Windows Update considers OS upgrades to be classified as a 'critical update', so if your computer passes the hardware requirements (Intel 8th gen and newer/AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer, UEFI capable, TPM 2.0 compliant, DirectX 12.0 compliant video card), you're getting it sooner or later.

It's Microsoft's OS, not yours. You don't get to control that shit anymore.

I think she made it sound like it was an automatic update... but I don't think Windows does that on a regular PC (jump to an entirely new OS version automatically, that is). It does present it as just another update, though, so a lot of people (probably including Kronii) likely just went "yeah, whatever, install the updates." and updated accidentally.
