Freed the slaves, abolition, and equal rights for women and people of color
I'll bite.

Abolition and freedom of slavery were won by a man who also considered them completely inferior to the white man and had vocalized no desire to push them any closer to equality, lol - as for the latter, are you calling it a 'conservative' achievement because it was pioneered by early Republicans, who were the fucking liberals of their time? NAWSA and other organizations for suffrage in the earlier era were racist as shit and the majority of their support came from Republican pioneers and early Republican civil rights activists, who were very much the liberals of their time - the Conservatives of their time were located in the Solid South/Democratic Party and had their own suffragette organizations, equally as racist as the northern suffragette organizations like NAWSA (NAWSA was so segregated blacks had to create completely separate identities for female suffrage) and were very much opposed to suffrage, my guy.

Nationalism was actually pretty common in classical liberal movements not just in the States but in Europe, too, considering most of the classical revolutions of 1848 are attributable to nationalistic movements.

When considering 'conservatism' and 'liberalism' in terms of achievement on a chronological basis, it's probably best to remember that conservatism of any given period of time exists to conserve what was once the liberalism of the preceding sociological era in Human development(aside from weird shit like paleoconservatism which just take an antiquated set of traditional views and try to keep them ideologically 'frozen in time') and this occurs as social and industrial development & progress eclipse the 'conservative' attitudes of the time, forcing the overton window a bit further - what is ideologically conservative and liberal for a given time period depends on what is ideologically traditional and progressive for a given time period.

Civil rights in terms of colored integration - folks like Harry F. Byrd who founded the Massive Resistance movement opposed to public desegregation in schools (and eventually desegregation throughout the rest of society), are you really willing to call them a liberal? Most people considered them to be very conservative for the time, lol. They're essentially the foundational, doctrinal basis for the most 'right' of paleocons today.

Only basis you have for attributing any of these achievements to 'conservatives' is the fact they are attributed to Republicans, the liberals of the era - to boot, many Republicans of the time also backed things that modern Republicans wouldn't necessarily back: In 1976, Republicans considered themselves 26.1% liberal, 47.7% moderate and 70.1% conservative on most political matters and if you go further back than 1976 into say, 1933, the percentage of Republicans that considered themselves 'liberal' starts to hover around 40% or more; the Republican shift towards the right coincided with the Southern Strategy and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Roe v. Wade only cementing the shift right.

Semantics are semantics, but one can't just ignore the fact that the parties had a massive ideological shift after the civil rights era and there's a much longer story to all of this but I'm not getting into that shit: the entire history of conservatism consists of giving ground to their day's progressives and eventually becoming their day's progressives.

People like him don't feel guilt for anything they do. Look at his rap sheet. They put him in the vest for the same reason they put Dylan Roof in a bulletproof vest, people who are likely to get put away forever like to take the easy way out.
He's not wearing a bulletproof vest; it's a turtle-suit, and nothing else. Plus they only get two turtle-suit blankets; this time of year it gets pretty cold on the block & courthouse holding cells. So that nigger is walking around pretty much naked & freezing his balls off, while nothing he's wearing would impede a dedicated assassin. Small comfort for the families of the victims, I guess.

This is all you will see unless you scroll down, at least on my monitor which is a standard res.

And of course nothing on the front page for the UK. Unlike for Kyle who shot 3 people in self defense and only killed 2. Every fucking day they led with that story, in the UK. This nigger killed 6 people and he seriously injured scores more. But crickets...

Now it doesn't even warrant a mention for the US portion of the website. But we get to hear about poor dindunuffin joggers and black fucking friday. Oh, and UFOs. Das rite folx. UFOs.

We have never been at war with East Asia. There was no war. It never happened.

The memory hole is strong with this one.

Daily update on the children.

On Olivia:
Olivia remains hospitalized with two separate areas of bleeding on her brain. These two areas continue to be the primary concern for the multiple teams of medical personnel treating her. Concerning as they are, they also provide the biggest improvement and positive news…THE BRAIN BLEEDING HAS SUBSTANTIALLY SLOWED and virtually stopped in both locations. This essentially guarantees no surgery will be needed!!!
This is great news!!!
However, the blood remains and hasn’t begun to be absorbed back into the body yet. This results in pressure, vomiting, and constant severe headaches.
Continuing to focus on her brain injuries, her medical team is now transitioning from neurosurgery and neurological leading the care to hospitalist leading the care. The hospitalist team is still heavy focused on her head injuries but is led by pediatricians rather than surgeons. This team is also heavily focused on recovery and rehabilitation. Today Olivia is had assessments done by physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
This is to partner with previous neurology assessments on how her brain will be recovering and functioning going forward. It also establishes a baseline to work from in the very long but very possible road to complete recovery.
Outside of her lower right leg, her other injuries for the most part are superficial and will completely heal with time.
The right ankle and big toe have significant damage but cannot be fixed with surgery. These also will be injuries that require rehabilitation and time above any other medical procedure.

The Stover family cannot begin to thank all of those that have given their love and support to Olivia and her family. The response from the community and across the country has overwhelmed them with positivity and the amazing power of prayer. They will be reaching out to specific families, individuals, the Catholic community, and others over the coming weeks and months.
But for now they wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to all those that have reached out, those that have donated, and certainly all those that have been praying for them and their Olivia.

Well, folks. It looks like we've got a killer car on the loose. :smug:

"Caused by an SUV". Jesus. Now I've heard everything.

Don't forget that killer car.

Btw, I spotted this article worth to read about Waukesha.

The Media's Chickens Come Home to Roost in Wisconsin

By Matt Keener

The child is dancing—bopping around in front of her family to the tune of the marching band passing behind her, as the pompom on her Winter stocking cap bounces right along with her, blissfully unaware that she narrowly avoided death or serious injury until after Darrell Brooks has already sped past her in his red Ford Escape towards other parade attendees and participants.
It is Sunday night in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a quintessential American town hosting its annual Christmas Parade in their Norman Rockwell-esque downtown area.
Seconds later, Brooks starts to weave through the parade route, plowing his SUV into and over 48 members of a youth dance squad, the band, “The Milwaukee Dancing Grannies,” and others unfortunate enough to find themselves in his path, killing at least 6.
Two days earlier, roughly an hour away in Kenosha, 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges in a case that many could argue should have never made it to trial. The jury ultimately found what freelance journalists and original source video on the ground seemed to show immediately following the shootings—he acted in self-defense.
In Waukesha, the media’s sins may well have come home to roost.

You cannot draw an entirely straight line between Brooks’s radical actions and the Rittenhouse verdict. Still, Brooks’s social media accounts and online posts make a strong argument that they are connected. They include multiple references to BLM, George Floyd, violence towards white people, and displeasure with police and the Rittenhouse decision.
A career criminal and convicted sex offender, Brooks was most recently charged, on November 5, for domestic abuse, including the charge that he “purposefully ran her over with his vehicle while she was walking through a gas station parking lot after he had followed her there after a fight.” Brooks was reportedly released from jail on a $1,000 bond just days before the tragedy in Waukesha.

At Monday’s press conference, Waukesha Police Chief Daniel Thompson said, “I want to dispel some rumors—there was no pursuit that led up to this incident. This is not a terrorist event.” The fact that there was no chase seemed to rule out an earlier idea that CNN and others floated that Brooks accidentally wound up in the parade after fleeing an earlier incident.
But no terrorism? Terrorism is defined as “the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.” For a DOJ and FBI that have spent a lot of time using that definition to paint soccer moms as terrorists, it might be premature to rule out terrorism.
Thompson continued by saying Brooks acted by himself and intentionally:
A lone subject intentionally drove his maroon SUV through barricades, into a crowd of people that was celebrating the Waukesha Christmas parade—which resulted in killing 5 individuals and injuring 48 additional individuals.
On Sunday, after the verdict in Kenosha and just before Brooks’s rampage in Waukesha, CNN ran an article showing a photo of Rittenhouse with the title “There’s nothing more frightening in America today than an angry White man.” Again, this ran after Rittenhouse’s acquittal. Picture in your head repeating that statement about any other ethnic group and think about how racist it sounds.
For many, Rittenhouse’s case was a prime “Red Pill” moment because those who watched the trial repeatedly saw that the media narrative surrounding the case never meshed with the truth from witness testimony or on-scene videos.
The initial reports from Kenosha were shocking, all stating some variation of “Trump supporter shoots multiple BLM protesters” or “BLM Protesters shot by counter protester.” This was as horrible of a scenario as anyone could imagine.

The current President produced tweets and videos labeling Rittenhouse as a white supremacist. And then, as facts and videos emerged, conservatives began to learn about Joseph Rosenbaum’s actions and the wickedness of who he was and how he was acting that night.
The reality emerged that after days of rioting and arson leading up to the night of the Rittenhouse shooting, the city of Kenosha—the streets, the furniture stores, and car lots—resembled a war zone after a bombing run.

Could be the guilt hit him, could be he finally snapped out of the focus he was in when he ran over those people and freaked out, necessitating putting him in that for his safety. According to the NYPost, it's not the first time he's self harmed.

Or it's a bullshit sympathy ploy that he's used many times before which worked to get him released on bail. Wah wah wah, pet my back like that, Lady Lawyer. In 3 months she'll be fucking him & giving him favors. Funny I haven't seen anyone in the media accuse him of fake-crying like they did Kyle. People who shoot their own family members, deliberately mow down children, then scam random citizens door-to-door for sandwiches while on the run do not feel guilty. He's a psychopath.

Funny I haven't seen anyone in the media accuse him of fake-crying like they did Kyle.
That's because they're either pretending the Ford Escape suddenly had a mind of its own and "drove through" those people, he took a wrong turn and forgot to hit the brakes, or that it never happened at all.
