This is a restaurant that Jack would have never gone to in a neighborhood that Jack also wouldn't typically go to (unless he was cruising for some late night grindr action). The inside is VERY tiny and the seating area fills up quite quickly. A majority of seats filled up within 45 minutes of them opening. I ordered a chai latte. It was pretty good but definitely didn't pair well with my food order. I had the avocado toast and my partner ordered the salmon toast. The salmon toast had a tomato chutney that pretty much tied the dish together. It tasted sweet, but not overbearing, and I'd honestly say the dish wouldn't be nearly as good without it.
The avocado toast was pretty good, but I found the bread a little tough to cut into. It's pretty hard to fuck up avocado toast, so I'd say it was a good dish, but I'd definitely order the salmon next time. First pic is avocado toast. Second is the salmon. Total damage was about $30 for everything.
