I have heard that point about the vaccines actually helping to drive the mutations, especially ones with relatively low effectiveness. Interesting to note that even at this early stage, Omicron has now been strangely linked to possibly having mutated within a single AIDs patient. Have we come full circle for Fauci? Next he'll be bringing out AZT as the sole treatment to kill us all faster.

I can't remember a single virus in history that has become more dangerous after a mutation. The whole point of a virus mutating is that it becomes easier to transmit but less deadly.

The first link is some spaz who just signs articles "doctors and scientists". I know there's some quack doctors out there. That's not the citation I asked for. He claimed there's scientists from Pfizer who said their vaccine is super duper dangerous. I am asking for those citations.

Fauci is a very qualified man for the job in leading the Covid care.
Fauci is actually quite level headed, but gets asked bizzare questions which run wild with the far-right for insinuations derived from cut-and-paste comments.
All Fauci has ever really said is get vaccinated, wear a mask and be diligent. He doesn't have a crystal ball but even he could (and did) say repeatedly that early on we are really gearing up for when the virus mutates and becomes a problem later on - which is what it is did and is doing and will do again. But this isn't some isolated point of view and was the forefront concern of almost every virologist globally.
The only thing I will smack Fauci up for is not insisting on a large control group of people from the onset. that had blood work done, health check ups etc. over the course of the pandemic to establish baselines for things from Vitamin D through to Heart inflammation etc. etc.
I consider this a major ball dropped by every country globally and it is frankly, disappointing. The fact that the need for such a control group has become clearer as the last year has rolled on but still there is no advocacy fro it is frankly, distrubing.
For these reasons alone I have lost faith in Fauci but for different reasons than my conspiracy ejaculating peers. Also Fauci was one of the most vocal people that questioned the data coming out of China in Jan 2020 and actually advised not to trust the claims of China bout how contagious it was and how it was asymptomatic. His singular voice was a primary reason no one took it seriously enough early on.

If it would have been up to Fauci, travel from China and Europe would have never been stopped in the US at the start of the pandemic. He was also the one, when interviewed, that said there is no need to wear masks and when he later changed his mind, said he lied to conserve masks for health care workers.
He is the highest paid federal employee and should have known what to do, since COVID-19 is not the first corona virus the US had to deal with during his time.
Besides his incompetence, there are official e-mails he sent obtained via FOIA that highlight how much of a liar he is and that he lied under oath.
