I was actually debating going as I wasn't wanting to start a fight but now I am terrified to go into Glasgow. Cheers, Sophie Labelle, for throwing your toys out of the pram and crying wolf over something that could have been rectified.
Any respect I had for her is gone now anyway.

Don't worry I can protect you. I used to get bullied a lot when I was younger because I was diagnosed with autism and a non-specific empathy disorder but that all stopped after I went through the Royal Marines training programme and learned to have an assertive and self-confident attitude. None of those bullying cowards will attempt to bully you if I'm there.

Labelle is saying that because we don't question other normal peoples' normality, we shouldn't question his ilk for their pathology either.
He seems to be really salty about being told his perversion is "just a phrase", or that he is really just gay. Here's the low-down Labelle: we always assume other people to be normal unless there is evidence to the contrary. This is the only sane way to go on with our lives -- if every normal person has to prove he or she is normal to everyone else, we simply would have no time to do anything. But if your identity is based around being a freak, it is only fair that we ask for evidence and exclude play-acting.

I think it's implying that people say that transexuals might just be gay which doesn't really make sense since so many also claim to be lesbians.
What...? Cis is being okay with your assigned gender, Hetero is being attracted to the other gender. You can be both...?

LaBelle needs to work on getting his messages over more clearly. I am really trying to understand this dude, but he's not making it easy.
The reason might be it's from a workshop so it was just an audience members personal experience?

Maybe it's again aimed at me because I am cis and apparently all the cis people are EEVUL.
I have plenty of transgender friends and I stuck up for the only transgender person in my previous workplace (she was this lovely little old lady, she always helped me iron clothes and told me about how herself and her wife collected dolls and stuff, which was cool).
