Mr. @Miss Tommie Jayne Wasserberg Sir that is a Magazine NOT A MEDICAL CITATION. And comically the medical citations say there is a MALE and FEAMLE brain. DI MORPHIC two changes. and Swaab made it clear there is a male and female brain and that some who can not make a decision they have no idea why there is no proof of non binary or fluid. it is STATIC and either male or female in size and density.
That is why you went age shit spastic when you saw the interview of Swaab making that very clear. There is a male brain and female brain. Now it is true the BODY is not always one or the other and there is a spectrum I know I was told this in the 80's That I did not have a male bone and muscle structure nor was it female but closer to female than male.
Now do get that fact newscientist is a MAGAZINE. not a medical reference library.

eCollection 2013.
There are dozens of them all saying the same thing. That first study is important and it is a as you put it slam dunk.
It is a very strong evidence that led to more studies that all said the same thing. and in 2020 that very author from that may 2000 study repeated it. and added a lot more to it.
But you and others refuse to look at it due to the length. and still make the same blind uneducated assertions.
Even though a world famous medical research doctor says YOU ARE WRONG.
NOW UNTIL YOU WATCH THE ENTIRE INTERVIEW you do not get to say otherwise.

@Dee Price, as I have stated previously I have no problem with accepting gender identity, but I must say that you quoting a single study from 20 years ago, conducted on a tiny sample of post-mortem brains, is not some sort of magic slam dunk in terms of proving strong neurobiological determination of gender identity.

Regional grey matter structure differences between transsexuals and healthy controls--a voxel based morphometry study - PubMed
Gender identity disorder (GID) refers to transsexual individuals who feel that their assigned biological gender is incongruent with their gender identity and this cannot be explained by any physical intersex condition. There is growing scientific interest in the last decades in studying the...
