Yeah, I'm generalising to an extreme degree. Obviously there's exceptions, and ultimately it's the backwards culture holding everyone back - I won't claim to be an expert, but some of the stuff I heard by Thomas Sowell was really insightful. Which all makes sense - I guess I'm just frustrated at having to deal with it after a lifetime of assuming it'd get better at some point, when it just seems to be getting progressively worse.

It's so revealing that so many genuinely successful and talented black people want no part of a culture that idolizes being a victim.

Off topic, but I really dislike how my own parents seem to disrespect Middle America as if “WHITE PEOPLE BAD” yet continue to want to live in NYC while crime and lawlessness (as well as homelessness) is on record breaking rise.

Are we even allowed to say "Black Friday" anymore? For many years I was calling it "African-American Friday", but I think the proper term nowadays is "Friday of Color".
