DefunctLand, Offhand Disneyland, Justin Scarred/Randomland, Adam the Woo...all of them make far better and more informative content than Skidmark, and they do it without being obnoxiously foul-mouthed and fake. Not only that, but you can tell that they genuinely are passionate about what they do and are thrilled to be doing it. They are also truly grateful for their audiences. They are a complete contrast to Skidmark who always seemed to feel so put-upon to be making his park review videos, like it was such a chore to be going to family fun parks and ride rides or was upset that there were other people in HIS park, and seemed to hate his audience because it wasn't as large as he believed he was entitled to.

I think it started with Nostalgia Chick (Lindsay Ellis) and her Chez Apocalypse. Before that, I cant remember any of them been so political, even before Obama rule.
