Sora has started streaming and going over the translation notes, apparently Youtube is doing another retarded automated unsubbing of people.

Also looking at the new girls, most of them are doing okay, with 3 out of the 4 already debuted members having lost some subs. Looks like the sub tracker I looked at wasn't as accurate as the one someone posted a few pages ago, Fuck I hate Youtube and Google, lazy cunts fix your shit. But Iroha is getting the worst of it coming last, Iroha over the last couple of days has lost 70k subs from Youtube fucker.

Thoughts on the debut of orca who gives people heart attacks:
I used Holo Discord translation bot this time and it really helped understanding some of what she was saying (didn't use it all the time), and wow she's such a loveable and ADORABLE dork. She's also such a sweetheart and is worried about upsetting anyone as well as upsetting management. Though given she's an M maybe getting bonked by management isn't too bad. Wide range of musical interests, loves money lmao, and OH GOD her without a mask is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. She's really great at singing, deep voice hit different. And finally, not a lot of big goals, but rather small goals about doing well and making people happy. It's no surprise given her personality but it reiterates that we must PROTECC this kind soul. I look forward to seeing her interactions with the EN girls.

What was the point in showing her off with the mask on if it meant taking down the PV video and redoing the channel? They're acting like her eyes were some kind of anime spoiler.

Just have the mask be an accessory instead of going through all the trouble.

I have to question the veracity of this, so I'll look around when I have some free time. If the stipulation is that you don't send a chat in over a year, then I feel we should have seen huge subscriber drops across the board - especially the bigger ones like Gura, Mori, Pekora etc who are more likely to have deadwood subs by virtue of having a larger number of subs. How does YouTube know when to differentiate content creators who stream primarily from those who don't, and personalise the sub-trimming criteria based on that?

People would have talked about the 6th generation of Hololive regardless. If nothing else, please at least trust me on that. Her mask isn't important enough to go through all that trouble.

Whoever decided to use blaringly loud Skyrim esque music from the second her stream starts is an idiot IMO.
I had my volume at a decent level for other streams and am sitting around waiting for her stream to start, she's multiple minutes late (~5) and I tab out to check other things while I wait.
All of the sudden music BLARES out of nowhere with no warning and it freaks the hell out of me and I jerk my hand and slam my mouse, worrying me that I might have damaged the m1 button.
I've never seen a hololive stream where it just blares volume from second 1 of the stream starting; it really pissed me off.
And there's no way to control the volume for a scheduled stream on youtube before it starts. I guess I'd just need to mute my volume completely.
