Megathread Tranny Sideshows on Social Media - Any small-time spectacle on Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, Dating Sites, and other social media.

I don't think this will happen because Disney has a VERY strict set of physical criteria for anyone who plays a character not in a fur suit. For example there are weight and height restrictions on who can play tinker bell because she needs to make it down a certain zip line feature each night.

Most of these jobs would also be going to young people many in the Disney college exchange program.

One of the MTF I have known for years was in college and got accepted into the Disney College Program. This was like in the early 2000s so at the time Disney had a policy to take a program workers room and board out of the money they are paid to work there (Disney Provides dormitory house) Well because my friend was trans, they were required to have twice the room and board taken so they would be placed in a single room. Also they were only allowed to use certain cast member bathroom locations. This friend actually had the school host a fundraiser so they would be able to afford the double charge and still live.

They did go into the program and worked at Epcot in one of the pavilions. Eventually Disney used other reasoning to get them ejected from the program.

I would be very curious to see how Disney handles this today with so many college troon distards coming up.
Yeah that figures. A girl I went to school with worked as Disney but she could only ever wear male character costumes as she was 5'8". She towered above the Snow White's etc.

I feel like this dude is over compensating. Like, he's trying to make it seem like the experience is more enjoyable than it really is because it staves off rhe madness and regret. Humans are real good at lying to themselves, after all
This irritated me. The fucking dumb TiF was all like, "educated middle class white people understand the struggles of people of color more than ghetto whites." And I'm like, WtF?! Bitch is not only a racists, but apparently classist (saying poor people are dumb) and abelist (saying people aren't smart enought to understand people of color). Like, I bet that this person identifies as a "communist," also but the focus on the middle class and the dismissal of the poor as stupid, makes me think this stupid TiF is just a career poser getting that sweet does of narc supply

This last person just looks like a woman who doesn’t do makeup in her late 20s/early 30s. I wouldn’t even think to use masculine pronouns or whatever in public.
She’s going through what? Surgery? Hormones? To look like a slightly older version of herself? Ok?

WTF does it even mean to be a "cute girl" for "cis reasons"? Why is that disclaimer necessary and why do I get the feeling this creep thinks about himself getting fucked as a little girl 🤢

I was on r/breakingmom, which is a sub where mothers complain about their life.
Lady posts: my spouse told me to quit my job because of r/antiwork.
Okay, hm, probably a husband but sometimes women use spouse for their male partner to be a little more anonymous.
I scroll down and see the OP using ‘she’. Hm, okay, some lesbians suck too. But wait...
I go to the OP’s other posts, and sure enough, troon.
If anyone wants to find some fresh depressing content, would recommend breakingmom — not the first time I’ve had this experience there.
Some men and some women are bad partners, but *all* troons are bad partners. Wanting your wife to quit her job so she can watch the kids/take care of the house is ‘normal’ male behavior, wanting them to quit because of r/antiwork is something only an Internet addled loser would do.

Ever seen an online leftist that didn't despise the actual working class?

It’s pretty obvious how they would handle it now. Same way as everyone else. Remove any and all safeguards they had and let them go in the women’s and share with women.

The thing is, women and men *do* have childhood experiences that are oceans away from each other. Whoever commented earlier about girls and boys having a fairly uniform experience of youth is wrong.

Girls (usually 11-13 at this point) begin menstruating and grow breast tissue. Overnight they go from children with non-sexualized bodies to proto-women with body parts that must be hidden lest they avoid character assassination from other children or even adults (ie teachers). It’s incredibly distressing. Some women recall being rejected by their fathers at this age, as if they suddenly were no longer worthy of attention and affection. Girls experiencing dysphoria during this time are being done a great disservice by the adults in their life who indulge it rather than responding with empathy and guidance. Puberty is fucking awful for girls and in no way do we romanticize it as we are experiencing it.

Men simply cannot relate. An adult man deciding to LARP as an adult woman, only to fetishize female pubertal experiences is a misogynist. 100 out of 100 times.

My experience of going through puberty was probably slightly different to the norm in some ways. I was very innocent as a child but hit puberty young, not precocious puberty levels but on the younger side of average. I suspect that it was likely due to other factors but I found that looking back women in my family were repulsed by the changes to my body - I was incredibly distressed not by the fact my body was changing (I understood why, I was innocent but not stupid) but the attention I got from grown men. I didn't like the fact that boys who had been my friends now treated me differently. I didn't like the fact I couldn't do sports or go swimming without perverted comments or stares, the latter being at the local swimming pool. I really wished I had female family members who would have spoken to me but they just closed up. Your world is changing, and rapidly, but they see it all as taboo and dirty and something you never discuss.

Male family members, to the opposite extent, became incredibly protective of me - this is what I mean about me being innocent because they spent more time with me doing things like schoolwork or helping me out with stuff to do with life and generally just being decent but now when I look back I realize they probably had some idea of what men could be like and wanted me to feel like I had someone I could talk to. Or that they were protecting me from men. Again I don't think they had any idea how to talk to a teenage girl especially about things that I would have been embarrassed about, I really was a moody bitch then and the only way you could really relate to me was via my hobbies.

I think the point I'm making is that they have this very fetishistic view of female puberty which really isn't the reality. I don't know what its like to go through male puberty either but if I'm honest I can't imagine aspects of that can be pleasant, there's probably parts of that that are embarrassing for guys. I don't think it can be nice having to try and change your sheets or have your voice be squeaky one minute then drop several octaves the next. Kids are cruel. There have been pedo teachers and camp leaders etc that get young boys to go away on trips and these are young boys who grow into young men fucked in the head because they don't want to talk to anyone about it. But their view of female puberty is so creepy and fetishistic and its just miserable. Nobody likes puberty and yet they post about going through "second puberty" bitch what. Why do you want to be a teenager so bad when you're a 45 year old man called Thomas who works in software engineering?

The look on actual Cinderella's face is pretty great too

I can't get into the mindset of people who get amped about meeting cartoon characters at Disney. I can understand the urge to meet actors at conventions, an actor is their character as much as they aren't their character and always will be. I think it's a waste of time and money for a five minute interaction that only you will remember for a few years, but I can understand why you'd want to do it.

But that actress there is just an average woman off the street who works a scheduled shift in a costume for a few months or years before moving on to a different job.

If this dude came back to meet Cinderella tomorrow he'd probably meet a different actress and get a different photo.

They have zero connection to the movie. I know Disney can't give their guests anything different, and millions of people don't seem to think it's a waste of money, but I cannot see how it isn't a waste of money.

Are you sure Rowling is the one who has a "sad, miserable life" here?

I like how he sits on twitter bitching about how sad it is he cant see his kids, but then follows it up with statements indicating.

1.) He is super fucking mentally ill (Lol no shit hence trooning)
2.) Has put in exactly zero effort at all to earn his legal right as father for parental visitation ( Thank god )
3.) Further evidence of zero effort put in to seeing his kids

I don't get how you can sit their bitching while basically not even giving enough of damn to try.

The problem is that this isn't just some random consoomer or some random troon, it's a man who, in everything he does, calls himself TransCinderella. He dresses as Cinderella on these theme park visits (albeit in a cheap and ill-fitting cosplay dress). He uses the glass shoe for a logo. He fucking photoshops himself to be accompanied by Cinderella's animal companions. It's pop culture-addiction, plain and simple - he needs his fix and he won't stop to think about how silly or unhealthy his behaviour is. Like the junkie collecting used injection needles behind the local Taco Bell, the addiction needs to be fed.

Armchair psychologist mode activated; people fail all at things all the time, everyone does. That's normal, and most of us learn from it - either how to do better or to change course and do something else. But when insecure / mentally-ill men constantly fail at meeting society's expectations of that gender (no matter how silly those may be), they are liable to overcompensate and look for a radical escape, often in the form of a new identity and/or fiction that comforts them.

Hysterical fits of 'No, I'm not a man! I'm a woman/fox/dragon/cartoon princess' plus watching the Cinderella movie one too many times et voila, you must indulge my TransCinderella nickname and subscribe to my shitty vlog channel or I will fly into narc rage as I desperately cling onto my ever-deepening delusions. That poor woman at Disneyland isn't an actress forced to humour them in exchange for a subsistence wage, no, she is Cinderella and she must validate the new reality, or else the old/actual reality of being a debt-riddled male in a dress will set in once more.

Thanks for listening to my SNEED Talk, I've decided to actually just attach the picture because it's too good not to share.

I can't quote you @Garbage.Theory but

If I was going to guess given he's Disney Bounding in such a way that he's obviously mimicking the character he's going to see, in ill fitted clothing, he's probably made comments about how he's a Cinderella too! It's an incredibly awkward situation for the actress; an obvious adult man without kids Disney bounding as the princess he's come to see probably while making inappropriate commentary, or commentary she doesn't have a script that works for, in a faked feminine voice.

Her face encapsulates both 'you don't know how bad things really are' and the obvious discomfort she's experiencing at being forced to endure this. This photo manages to capture the exact feeling a woman feels when troons invade their spaces.
Had to do it

I don't like how he's touching that chubby mouse. Look, it's a troon and one that looks particularly delusional (it's like that guy that shoops himself with reshiram, but this one raises even more instinctual alarms), don't blame me for having prejudice.

Pop culture addiction is definitely a thing. You can't go anywhere with a sizable fanbase, be it videogame, movie, anime, open source tool or "identity" without the seeds of troonhood ready to bloom. And like the rafflesia, it smells like amholes and ruins your day. Er, I digress. In those sub-sub cultures, I notice the most "24/7 online" and drama-causing members are the ones that troon out or have trooned out. The ones that obsess and devour every fanfic, theory, fanart, have like 20 ships, and of course lots of porn of the thing (even the foss tools in cases:cryblood:). In other words, fucking addicts.

The Touhou thing was something I watched unfold. First came the fans of "shmups" (shoot'em-ups or pew pew space ship games) that were delighted to have something new to play during a very dry time for the genre. Then the troons, pornographers and lolifags invaded and turned it into the most pozzed community I can think of. The games don't even have any porn or innuendo in them, and most characters aren't supposed to be lolis (the artist just sucks ass). It only took a year or two for the whole thing to become a hellscape of perverts and troons (most of the time both). I had managed to forget that debacle but mentions of it just reminded me of how fucking troon-infested it was even almost 20 years ago.
I have no explanation for this, but thank god there are more good shmups to play now. I recommend Zeroranger it's fucking cool. Pick the drill.

Correlation. Their obsession with anime is more generally best described as escapism. An anime is a cartoon where characters behave in exaggerated ways to make social cues more obvious, nobody has ugly warts or bad skin and hair (because they are 2D drawings with flat colours). Everything is colourful, characters have tragic/noble origins that give their lives meaning & destinies to fulfill. There are overt protagonists and antagonists. Anime is a perfect, pure world in contrast to the murky, pointless ambiguity of reality which is the opposite of a cartoon in all those ways.

Escapism into a cartoon world might appeal to somebody who is socially unsophisticated (autistic) and prone to black-and-white thinking (leftist) and who wants to inhabit a simpler world.
I'm glad someone else has noticed this. Anime in general (excluding 'prestige' anime like Studio Ghibli stuff) has always struck me as incredibly childish, even the ones that are supposedly for adults, even compared to a lot of stuff aimed at children.

Practically, both of you have touched on pretty much element that makes most mainstream anime appealing to troons. I believe another important aspect that makes anime enticing to troons is the excessive use of “protagonist-centered morality”.

In many fictional works, but especially anime, the protagonist’s perspective, opinions, actions, and feelings are prioritized. Essentially, the entire fictional universe revolves around the protagonist, who is often unintentionally written to be entitled and self-centered as fuck. All decisions that the protagonist makes are morally sound, other characters are deemed “good” or “bad” by whether they validate and help the protagonist (good) or criticize and ignore the protagonist (bad). Every character is expected to be sympathetic to the protagonist’s plight. If there is an overarching goal, the protoganist is entitled to acheive it regardless of anyone else’s wishes. Additionally, if their is a love interest, the protagonist is entitled to their affection and the love interest is expected to overlook the protagonist’s physical and emotional flaw, validate the protagonist, and cater to the protagonist (of course, their own feelings and wants are irrelevant). Considering, that most anime protagonists are incredibly generic, bland, and shallow, self-insertion (escapism) is easy.

Troons often possess the “protagonist-centered morality” mentality. If you are not constantly validating them or you criticise them, then you are an evil TERF who deserves harm. They feel entitled to acheive their goal of taking up LGB spaces and women’s spaces and sport regardless if it is detrimental to everyone else. When they infiltrate these spaces, they then expect the group to prioritize and center their feelings. They feel entitled to sex and romantic affections from specific groups of people and expect you to ignore your needs for theirs. Troons literally act as if they are the center of the universe. So, a perfect fictional world that is crafted to cater to an entitled anime protagonist is probably going to resonate with a lot of troons.

Anime in general (excluding 'prestige' anime like Studio Ghibli stuff) has always struck me as incredibly childish, even the ones that are supposedly for adults, even compared to a lot of stuff aimed at children. You will never get a subtle reaction shot in your standard anime: if something bad happens that is supposed to shock and horrify the protagonist, you'll get a three-second close-up of his face with an over-the-top "I am shocked and horrified!" expression and matching voice acting. If something sad happens, you'll get an overbearing sad musical score and a ten minute montage of everyone sobbing. I suppose maybe that attracts autists who have trouble reading more subdued emotions. I do know that in Japan the actual popular animes are mostly the ones for kids.

(Yes I know there are exceptions, please don't chime in with a paragraph about how your chosen anime is good actually. The vast majority of anime is still cheaply produced crap for babies or autists)

Called it.

Really top-notch analysis, right there

I dunno about this one. Disney is extremely protective of its public image. They have to be ultra-wholesome for the family friendly crowd, while still appealing to adults who are obsessed with their own childhoods, and participating in performative wokeness to the exact right degree, no more, no less. At most, they’ll sell “Disney supports trans rights” banners in the gift shop, and coach their employees on respecting customers’ pronouns, maybe even making employees wear pronoun badges during trans awareness week, but they’ll never hire a delusional troon with a risk of 41-percenting in their park. Disney is enough of a holy grail that it’s considered a privilege to work there, and employees will gladly follow a long list of near-totalitarian rules (i have a cousin who worked for disney, and he actually had to sign non-disclosure agreement not to talk about anything that happened at the park that wasn’t already public knowledge). There’s zero tolerance for mistakes, fuck-ups, and being “off-brand”. They’ll just fire your ass and hire the next hopeful.

Not only that, but they’re pretty much uncancelable. JKR has fuck-you money, and enough fans and supporters that she’ll still be wealthy, but she still has to deal with threats and shitty comments said about her. Disney though, is in a realm all by itself. It’s got mythical status as the “most magical place on earth”, and they work hard to protect that image. I haven’t seen any troons have the nerve to complain about Disney’s Harry Potter-themed rides. Not even the ones who complained about the HP actors appearing in a retrospective that JKR wasn’t even going to be at. I’m pretty sure that if any purple-haired SJW tried to make a “Disney is Problematic” video, they’d get BTFO’d. The closest i’ve seen is “Disney Cartoons are Problematic, but I love them anyway uwu” before getting taken down for copyright violation.

TL;DR, even though Disney doesn’t actually give a shit about the safety of its employees, they aren’t about to let a bunch of delusional troons bully them.

PL but I've been very much an extreme tomboy growing up. I only got into fashion and makeup by my late teens, I had more male friends than female friends, and I never went through one of those stereotypical "teen girl" experiences like being prom queen or whatever. So by troon logic I have a lost feminine childhood too, no? Shit like sleepovers with the gals and going to the mall aren't nearly as exciting or meaningful as they make it seem in movies, because those are fucking MOVIES. Just like how I'm sure very few of you if any actually had a dramatic Mean Girls-esque experience in high school.
Getting your first period and buying your first bra is embarrassing as hell and not something you look back fondly at. The fact they obsess over these things so much is so fucking creepy, they don't want these experiences for the sake of relatability to real females. They specifically want to be young girls going through puberty, because they're creepy coombrains obsessed with loli and breeding kinks.
It becomes even more obvious when you compare it to TIFs. For them, "lost male childhood" means having an exciting gay twink romance in high school as if real life is a Netflix show. I'm sure I don't need to ask my fellow gay men here to explain how real life works.
My experience was between you and @Garbage.Theory , can confirm. And can confirm the TIF one as I saw enough tumblr ftms swoon over pretty boy aus of their favorite shows about pretty boys.

The thing is, women and men *do* have childhood experiences that are oceans away from each other. Whoever commented earlier about girls and boys having a fairly uniform experience of youth is wrong.

That's what I was hinting at, but was being a bit too subtle. The way I phrased it was "most of the positive and neutral things boys and girls go through are universal". The negative, however, are quite different. Expectations of growing up in a certain way abound for both, some specifically restrictive to your sex, and girls have the extra layer of fear: boys around you have more testosterone now. Older men are leering at you, commenting on them, or worse. Your family tells you harder truths than you wanted to know. And moms and dads are in a tizzy about your safety... it is enough to make any gal want to drop out of her gender.

So if almost all of the positive AND neutral things about growing up are shared by both genders or are able to be first experienced at the age you are now by both cis and trans women (e.g. putting on makeup), then what does that leave us...?

You either get
A) "I missed out on slumber parties, gossiping about girls, and having lezzie experiences (that not even the cis lesbians usually get due to their low population leading to no dates and almost no one out in high school) for my first crush. I missed my parents telling me who great it would be for me to be pregnant with a child and my cooking and caring skills nurtured."
or
B) "I want to feel weak and vulnerable and have old men ogle me. I want to be the sexually harassed teen girl. I want the bad things because they make me hard."

So you are either stupidly sexist or even more creepily sexists who should not live within 50 miles of a schoolzone if you don't realize cis women have a wide range of experiences and personalities that don't always lend themselves to what you think they should be. Imagine wishing for the restraints women pray to lose since you only see them as objects or prisoners.
