Well, I spoke too soon about the French law changing, or at least about schools respecting it. After going to school for TWO WHOLE DAYS following the last "one-case" closure, two of my kids just got sent home for another week. For a single case. Process will be different depending on the company, but it's looking like US companies don't like the stem cell argument. Further, make sure you state in plain English that you're requesting to be exempt from the requirement. Apparently people forget this. No, because it was always a choice and when they started it they said they would be legally immune from any side effects. Better yet if you can point to some legislation/court cases with actual legal teeth that can tell them that they have to accommodate, and to stay in their own lane (especially if they try to overreach when asking for 'proofs'). Anything 'logical' will end up being hit with "THE FDA SEZ", and the fetal stem cell argument depends on how you argue it (and is still 50-50).

Ultimately it really depends on whether HR and corporate are acting in good faith or not; it unfortunately seems like many are not. In that case, no religious letter or form will ever satisfy them, and they'll just look for ways to deny you regardless.
