Not to explicitly defend him because deleting everything on his YT was a dumb-shit move, yet I can still see where he’s coming from.

He most likely just doesn’t find Ky funny and didn’t want to say that, so came up with a bullshit excuse that instead went over just as poorly. Even if he “apologized”, that would mean effectively the entire fandom putting him on the spot to make a Best Of Ky video as a result, and… putting that together sounds like Hell incarnate.

I hadn’t really heard of who that guy was but I’m assuming his video was based around something personal that was said to him from inside the RT company. Something about how he spoke and the phrase “words have meaning” or whatever, can’t go review it now.

But I have a lot of AH and RT on twitter and man they won’t shut the fuck up about it. From RT staff talking about stealing to retweets from random people talking about how it’s not on to attack black people. It’s like a perpetual machine of just nonsense.

Now it also seems AH is doubling down on black people and flying in black people to make guest videos all week.

I’d love to see internal emails from who ever controls RT at HBO or WB just to get some insight to the logic of their decisions.

That's my point, Mica left, and they knew why, but couldn't outright say it. So when Fiona shows up, and they realize there's more strings to this doll, they snagged her up right away. Though with Ky I have no idea if there's still strings or if Ky has the strings.

Kind of sad, but also really good in that while Hembo made those compilations, they never hired him on, seeing as to what a shell of their former selves they became. It's a stupid hill to die on but the HembroHero is 100% right here. Matt and Lindsey are boring. Ky is loud, Trevor is a tryhard, and Fiona is just annoying as shit on a shoe. On some level the community has to know this. Hembro deleted everything but does anyone think that a 'best of Ky' video would get half the views his 'best of Michael Jones' video got? Off topic but how come there isn't a Yogscast thread? There's been a fair amount of controversy with them and Hembro's DFE spree reminds me of how the Yogscasts' own compilation guy (madcat) got the boot.
