They are not in charge of domestic politics. They are allowed to exist in their current roles by those really in charge. Both sides of the aisle take money from these two rather than obeying their own voters and ripping Silicon Valley to shreds.

I agree with that sentiment that Twitter should be allowed to be hypocrites on their own site. They are not the first or the last.

What I don't agree with, is the giant barrier of entry against challenging these companies such as payment processors acting like the Saudi Moral Sharia Police by dropping people.

There is a giant monopoly at play, which is more interested in people's morals than just simply running a business.
