Mr. Flan and I took the little Flan to the nearest midsize city, which we rarely do anymore. The unvaccinated are not supposed to eat in restaurants but little Flan was hungry and I didn’t feel like going through the drive through.

We were able to order and pay at the McDonalds kiosk. Only when we were picking up our cooked food did they ask for our papers. Mister Flan said no, grabbed the food and sat down.

The manager came over and said she needed to see our vaccination status. Mr Flan said “no I am not sharing medical info with you” and she rolled her eyes and kept repeating “it’s our protocol”. And then she said “we could get a fine!” To which Mr Flan said “even better now bugger off unless you want to stand there and watch us eat”. And we never saw her again.

We’ve decided we aren’t going to comply our way out of this. I don’t even like the food there but that was pretty low effort enforcement.

Agreed. My best friend is a banker, she mentioned some conversations she’s been having with business owners. Many of them don’t give a crap about the restrictions and want any customers they can get.

They can’t come out and advertise it though, or it brings on the Eye of Sauron. Between social media pile-ons from the branch covidians and the government looking for defiance to make an example of, they just don’t enforce things and don’t make a big deal of it.

In my defense I've been in 'avoid the rest of society mode' for a while now. The thought of going to a theme park and being part of the writhing, seething human mass disgusts me for reasons that have nothing to do with the commie coof. I'm married so I don't really go out drinking much at all anymore and it's not like Hollywood is making amazing must see amazing, super relevant movies worth paying $70 for tickets and bag of popcorn (or $2 for that matter but I'll save that for a relevant thread). All my favorite musicians have become cucks and hacks or have killed themselves in one way or another. Trying to listen to modern pop is like trying to replace an IPA and Guinness habit with keystone-light. I'm due for a nice date with the wife ($30 a plate and some mixed drinks) but reproduction makes getting out a bitch. The only place I actually get in the car and go to with any regularity is to the lake with the dog.

The way I see it the coof is just a manufactured depression, this is what everyone agreed a modern depression would look like, everyone staying at home, drinking cheap at home, fucking cheap at home, the death of the entertainment/experiences/restaurant industries... It's like everyone else has suddenly been forced to live 'terminally online' and the asylum was just flooded with new and confused patients. I feel like the entire economy is designed to cater toward nogs and cali socialites, the urban hellscape offers me nothing besides a nice dinner 3 or 4 times a year. I just want to go out in the woods, grow weed, drink shine, learn to finger pick and be as much removed from 'society' as possible.

I live in a very populace state and it's just hell doing anything. You try to take the kids somewhere on a Tuesday because obviously the weekend is insane and you get a whole colony of orthodox yids or six school buses full of little gibsmedats to make up the difference. When they opened some stuff back up I said to the wife "oh this will be good time to go to the aquarium, they have mandatory reservations, I bet it will be empty.".. fucking shoulder to shoulder, lose your kids in a cross between a Harlem block party and the streets of New Dehli, queue up to see a godamn fish crowded, on a weekday. Then there is the amusement park which amounts to waiting four fucking hours to ride a roller coaster or two, spending $40 on snacks and then more or less going home (99% lines and inflated prices, 1% amusement). My parents wanted to take the kids to Disney and the whole time I was just muttering about how Walt would be rolling in his fucking grave.

Does it kill/slow t-cells in your body?
So in theory if someone were to develop cancerous cells or is even a recovering patient after cancer treatment would the vaccine be the sure death sentence?

One advantage of living in a more conservative place is that I haven't had to wear a face covering in all stores ever since I moved out of a more leftist - and more urban - craphole. Over there, there used to be a muzzle mandate that didn't apply if one was eating at a restaurant, but did when one was not eating. But at least unlike even more leftist crapholes, the muzzle mandate didn't apply when at home or always when outdoors. I've thankfully forgotten what "mask breath" and elevated CO2 feels like.

It's also good I wasn't a little kid in school when the muzzle mandate happened. Can you imagine wearing a muzzle for an entire 8 hour school day? And it's good I don't have to take a plane anywhere during this Mega Clown World circus. Can you imagine having to wear a muzzle for the entirety of a 12 hour flight - assuming one can fly?
