I swear as soon as he changed his name he just got boring.

There's definitely a correlation. He went from Dyke to Gavagan around the time his channel randomly stopped uploading for a while, as he moped about his personal life on social media. There's probably other shit that went on in his life that led to his decline in quality, and changing his name might have been a coping mechanism: you know, like hiding his issues becoming a new person? Either way, he dropped off in quality after 2018 for sure.

You know, I'm just gonna say it's pretty disgusting to have a case as horrific, and heartbreaking as Genie's (or any child abuse case, frankly) be sponsored by Raid Shadow Legends.

Also, most of the comments are currently just people simping for Rob, and not discussing the actual case at hand which honestly just says enough, really.

I completely tuned out of his channel when he was shilling BetterHelp, even after the big controversy of late 2018. Raid Shadow Legends in a video about child abuse? This is like Angry Joe monetizing his JewWario eulogy.

Being a tiny squeaky woman myself, I'm willing to say that's just a coincidink unless his girlfriend's whoring herself out with creepy ageplay and the two of them are into daddy-little. Though it'd be interesting if he took up the mantle of being a pedo-hunter due to being with her for any reason.

He said it was causing his videos to be demonitized and given lower rankings in the algorithm. But rather sure he just had the issue all of the true crime channels have with that.

Before that there were a few deleted videos of her just breaking down. She was dealing with depression and anxiety though. She stated she would leave her channel up since it could still help people then a few months later just deleted everything.

Rob Dyke did a video that is deleted now addressing her leaving but I can't find it now.

I can't remember if I mentioned ThatDane and his Disturbing sounds iceburg (give me alarm clocks if I did), but these are alright. The commentary is ThatCreepyReading-esque and his voice can be annoying to some, but I have it on in the background when organizing the garage, so it's okay for passive listening.

Replying to your post again because the second video features some audio that has probably fucked me up more than any other - I heard it in one of those 911 mix videos on YouTube and mentioned it in a discussion on this thread about why the notorious brick-through-the-windshield video is so disturbing. Mercifully ThatDane only plays the tiniest clip (he starts discussing it at 17:03) but I was rather hoping I'd never hear that poor little girl's voice again and it was enough to make my blood run cold.

Oh, for sure, I totally get what you mean. The horror comes from putting yourself in that spot and imagining what you'd see and feel, and sometimes that can be more harrowing than a gore video. That's why the emergency call videos tend to affect me quite a bit - I can't remember the channel but one of their videos included a clip called 'Lisa's Call', which was a little girl calling 911 as her father was beating her mother all over the house. The kid was absolutely hysterical and I was weeping by the end of it, and it was all I could hear in my head for hours afterwards.
