The biggest reason the Orca will never be a Gura Killer is that she can't speak english. Even if you have all of the ingredients (voice, talent, mannerism, and the PR machine that is Hololive), no one can kill Gura so long as they can't speak english

Chloe's growth is really impressive, she is the second Gen6 (after La+) who surpassed 400k subscriber in this short amount of time. I was sure Laplus would be the biggest out of the girls but you may never underestimate the power of moe. She has currently over 35k viewers at her talking stream, crazy.

Omega has been the biggest nothingburger. They made a big deal about the announcement/debut during that first Council collab and then nothing came out of it but an unfunny vtweeter. At least they could have done an occasional recap/announcement show like A-chan does but in EN with Omega, but haven't even bothered to do that. Not sure what the point even was.

Been testing out the LiveTL extension (alongside the ytcFilter one I was using before) and it does seem to work better at grabbing the EN translations. On really busy chat streams, ytc misses a bunch of the tagged translation bc chat is just moving too fast I think. Watching the Chloe stream now and LiveTL is probably picking up twice or more of the EN translations than ytc.

(While typing the above now, LiveTL seems to have hung and stopped updating. Might need more testing.)


Also I just saw Gura posted a member post saying that is the sickest she's been in a long time. I guess the rumors of her demise were wrong. Doing a members only singing practice later this afternoon.

I genuinely read anything coming from the chans, and the views of some truly exceptional individuals that have posted here in the voice of Jason from The Good Place. Trust me, once you start to hear that voice over their 'trust me bro' rrats you'll never go back.

That PSA out of the way, while Chloe is not my favorite of this gen (La+ has that on lockdown as I'm partial to those that clap back at chat), she definitely has a lot going for her. Her English is stunted but, as was pointed out earlier, pronounced well in an 'adorable' way. Great timber gap-moe, coupled with a very cute model. . . I don't think she will be a 'Gura Killer.' I don't think there will ever be a 'Gura Killer.' for various reasons. But she will do very well in the coming months. 'Orrie Sempai is mai Hunnee' I need say no else.

Also. . . do we have an age for her. She made some very nostalgic references to the Harry Potter DVD games in a way that makes it seem very close to my own: 17 Second Season +1 like the pirate.

I use W11 right now and. . . honestly I haven't had too many problems. But I have some alright hardware and have put a decent amount of effort into really learning the interface. I won't say it is good. . . but maybe in the coming months something can come from it.
