In terms of FOSS there's also Discourse and Flarum to consider. But Null probably already knows about them and I am unsure how they'd handle the massive amount of media that flows through here. Flarum was easy to setup and gave me no problems; however it was also for like 10 people so mileage may vary.

I’m genuinely curious. What other forums are even approaching the activity of the farms? SA has been slowly dying for nearly a decade (much like its creator) but I genuinely cannot think of any other mid-large forums that survived past Reddit.
