Hating Christmas is a prime lolcow trait (Amy Ramadan, Spoony, etc). Only a complete misanthrope sees a time where everyone is having fun and reacts with revulsion and disdain. I do agree with Wedge (hated typing that) about the Christmas music. Did retail as a teen and they started that shit before Halloween sometimes.
Don't hate Christmas itself though, that's quite a leap. Only time people aren't looking forward to Christmas is when they don't have any actual plans on the day. Go be with your family for the day Wedge, actually, no need to ruin their enjoyment of the day. Stay at home.

Unless he thinks there's an Indian holiday that used to be held during December, but I doubt he means that. He's just complaining for its own sake.

Christmas music can be a bit overbearing (especially considering how it's played even before Thanksgiving, where I live), but it's good to try and listen to songs you don't hear very often, rather than focus only on those that are overplayed. Though this sort of statement really does reveal how shallow and miserable Wedge really is. As if working retail and listening to Christmas songs ad nauseum just utterly ruins the holiday for him.

So I looked up a few articles about problematic Christmas songs and of course there's tons of these because the media is obsessed and stupid. But literally none of them except "Do They Know It's Christmas?" are listed as racist in any of these articles I bothered to look at. Let alone specifically racist against Indigenous people.
