Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

For the racists on the forum, they might be interested to know that there was back-migration from the ME into Eastern Africa as well. So the Ethiopians as a people in terms of ancestry are partly composed of those who left Africa, swanned around in the fertile crescent area for a bit then turned back around and kicked the asses of the peoples that stayed in Africa and took it back again.

So for those on here who are trying to reconcile Ethiopian awesomeness with their own White Is Best beliefs, there's your rationale. Ethiopians are (partly) the original colonists.

He has a career in the media/politics ahead of him and has no need for college. Which is pretty sad tbh. Either he never gets to fulfill his dream of helping people being a nurse/emt/paramedic/firefighter and is instead another cog in the political bullshit or he gets corrupted by that same system and another potentially good man is lost.

yes, this is a cart before the horse situation, but vaccine databases done properly are useful public health tools.

This is probably one of the less offensive databases the Federal government maintains. Vaccinees are already in some EHR somewhere, and antivaxers won't shut up about their pure blood so there aren't any real privacy implications. If it were a universal thing, and not COVID-only, it would cut down on duplicative vaccination (e.g. military recruits getting re-vaccinated for everything) and enable better public health responses when there are outbreaks. I don't know what the Constitutional basis for such a law would be, other than the "general welfare means we can do whatever we want as long as we claim it's good for you" clause, but as a practical matter this isn't as bad as the No Fly List or the NSA's metadata mirror.

As for people getting fired, oh well. Private businesses can choose who they want working for them and who they prefer not to have working for them as long as it's not based on ace, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, and political affiliation. If you can't pass the extremely low bar of a fake religious objection, you should probably just sign up for the tugboat.

New book reveals Hunter Biden joked with therapist about father having dementia​

Included in a new book about Hunter Biden's infamous laptop scandal is a text message exchange between Hunter and his therapist wherein they joke about Joe Biden having dementia.

On Tuesday, Miranda Devine's new book, "Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide," appeared on shelves across the nation. It detailed the story of Hunter Biden's now infamous laptop scandal, but also includes new insight into how President Biden's son views his father's mental health.

In January 2019, just months before Joe Biden launched his campaign for president, Hunter exchanged text messages with his therapist and friend, Keith Ablow.

As Fox News reported, according to Devine the conversation involved a discussion about Democratic presidential candidates, but soon turned to the subject of Joe Biden. "Your dad is the answer," Ablow said. "Any man who can triumph over dementia is a giant. Think what he could do for our nation's needed recovery."

"You're such an *sshole," replied Hunter, "but that made me laugh out loud."

"Perhaps he can help us remember all we intended to be as a people since he can now remember his address," Ablow continued, to which Hunter replied that his father "doesn't need to [know] where he lives" because "that's the only thing the secret service get right at least 75% of the time."

The book goes on to recount another conversation between the two wherein Ablow asks Hunter whether his father can recall the details of anything these days. Hunter appears to say no, adding, "since it's all fake news anyway I don't see the problem."

There has long been scepticism regarding President Biden's mental health, with rumours circulating that he may indeed have dementia. The White House released the results from his first physical exam last month, however a cognitive test was not performed.

It was the best they were going to get, though, and they knew it. You can't ask for slaves to be counted as a full person for the purposes of handing out seats in the House of Representatives while simultaneously asking them to be exempt from the count in population-based tax levies. The Northern stance of not counting for votes but counting for tax purposes was far more reasonable given that the South used them as farm animals and not people. "You deny them their rights, we deny you their headcount."

But that was completely disagreeable to the South compared to the mostly disagreeable Three-Fifths Compromise, so we got what we got. And the slavery can got kicked down the road. Again and again until 1860.

What gets lost in all of this great replacement talk is that probably 40 odd percent of white Americans are a hopeless lost cause that support national suicide like New England and Washington and Oregon and California has shown.

I'm just pointing out how funny & pathetic it is that they're willing to acknowledge the legitimacy of conspiracy theories otherwise considered insane if it means getting what they want.
