Fun little retcon on the late stream regarding Metroid.
Phil now says that he's nervous for his next Dread stream because contributions and support always dry up on the second stream for Metroidvania games.
So he really wants people to come out and support the second stream of Dread so that he knows there is support for those games.
I have no idea where this came from. The blanket statement has always been that people don't support those playthroughs at all, and he has never played one while operating under this variety/begging model, so this is a pure fabrication in order to target beg for the next Dread stream.
No acknowledgement that he exceeded the goals with the first Dread Stream, either.

He also has no consistent mod on the late stream. Didn't he recently recruit that sock account to do it? Did LovecraftFan run for the hills already?
Phil says he is considering 'giving up' on moderation on the late streams.

Super Metroid was part of a marathon, 1 hour gameplay.
Hollow knight, 1 hour of gameplay
Castlevania Bloodlines, 2 parter, 1 hour 15
Metroid Prime was 6 years ago and I'm not counting it since it is a bit away from the formula, same with Lords of Shadow. Other M was also a playthrough but again, a bit not what people think of when they hear metroidvania, and this was before livestreaming.

So where is he pulling this shit that his fans dont like them based off the 3.25 hours he played total for people when he live streams? Oh right, he sees people not dumping money into them constantly and they are part of marathons.

Drives me nuts how he can sit there and do the "alottuh peepul" bullshit he does when he's hardly played them at all. So he hates them himself, and he wants people to foot the bill because he's gonna dread playing it like a normal person. Hence, the guidethrough.

Phil says that credit card fraud happened 'years ago'. And reframed the whole thing as being about the chargebacks he received.

He never specifically said that was tied to the recent identity theft. He just heavily implied it.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here cause when he mentioned it i thought he was talking about King tut based on 3 things
1)King tut say he got his money back
2)Phil said King tut commited credit car fraud by saying the tips werent real
3)That would explain how the police reacted since for them credit fraud would be someone stealing your avcard and not some authistic internet slapfight
