Like a month ago or so Dottovu commissioned some emotes so she probably is/was planning to stream on that account again, she still has a patreon so she probably also needs to keep giving people content over there as well.

On another note I started watching Lilyhops again after a break. I don't mind anymore that they're a tranny but the passive degeneracy is becoming too much for me. The fanart they host on their stream is getting progressively more 'questionable' and lily's community is becoming full of pedo coomers over their character.

I don't mind if fans in a community "lewd" a vtuber but when the character looks like this shit gets weird quick:

And shes playing into the "uwu little sister" shtick more than usual making it even weirder.

Why'd my favorite vtuber go down this route? I just wanted to watch a wholesome vtuber to make me feel less dead inside.

Recap for Amelia/Sachiowo/kappachi0's "streams" tonight

  • Tweeted here (archive) that she was streaming.
  • She wasn't actually streaming, but people in chat started chatting and gifting subs. I think one guy spent like $500 gifting subs.

  • Guess she felt a little guilty so she starts up a stream with a still image just like linked in the tweet above, briefly peeks her eyes over the still image and ends the stream, lasted about a minute in total.
  • Over the next 30-45 minutes she starts up several streams all of which are a mix of memes, Naruto clips, and Animal Crossing.
  • None of them involved her talking or using her webcam (with the exception of the first one where she peeked over), so don't worry that you might've missed something.
  • Eventually stops putting up streams, puts the chat in emote only mode, and goes off to do whatever it is detectives do.
  • She was also cuter than usual today.

Actual content wise there wasn't much of anything, but I figured I'd make a note of it since this and creating that Twitter account back in July have been the only public activity she's had outside of being Amelia Watson.

She is genuine, she even holds bible study streams during Sundays.
While I'm not a religious person, her personality is a breath of fresh air in this ethot infested landscape

Idk, I think it's less to do with numbers. When she talked a bit before about her being depressed (I forget when/what stream it was), maybe she wasn't happy with who she was back then and the character she was playing, drunk girl with cute voice puts out memes, and that pretty much was what got pushed by her community afaik (not much). She has a great group of friends/coworkers now, seems to be enjoying what she is doing a lot, no need to ever go back. Sure, she is labeled a gremlin, still does crazy things, but it's much better than before (remember her being so vehemently against being labeled drunk on her new years stream)

There is a reason I avoid NSFW art of vtubers. No horni, full stop. It gets really horrifying real quick, especially if it's a character like Gura (I'd suggest the same with any form of media where you find yourself attracted to any of the characters actually). Try to simp responsibly

She looks much cuter than I remember. Probably because she doesn't look like a teenager anymore.

Which leads nicely into the subject of lilyhops: lolicon is fine, but toddlercon is disgusting imo. The way I see it, a loli CAN be an adult, and I've seen my fair share of girls over 21 that definitely fit the bill. But a toddler is a fucking TODDLER. There's no getting around that they're obviously supposed to be little kids.

I'm not going to be participating in any twitter hate-mobs over it, but it's definitely the kind of thing that might make me re-evaluate my opinion on a person.

It seems like the safe and smart route to always have a backup plan ready to go for the worse case scenario. Which means having to update emotes now that funds are more readily available and a little bit of content here and there.

But have they explained how the split works on the adsense money yet?

Considering they are salaried employees I always assumed the talent saw nothing of ad-sense

I bow to few people in my appreciation for Gura, but I can't fathom how anyone would fap to her. She hits entirely different neural pathways that have nothing to do with sexual attraction, more like a daughter or little sister whose smile brightens your day.

Subaru did her "casual talk" stream with Sora, where the idea was to try to speak to the daisenpai using informal language.
I know some of us around here have been hoping to see Holomems bring Sora into the fold a little more, so this is nice to see.
