It was confirmed by (I think) @Anony that back on twitch the knightbot had a laundry list of detractor words to react with pig justice to.

Idk if I’m really late to this, but,

I think Phil started the podcast and the whole “I’m a voice in gaming news with takes people are interested in” thing because of the echo chamber he created on Twitter. Him getting rid of trolls by banning them and barring interaction with his tweets has just created this image in his head that people agree with him and want to hear what he has to say.

I wouldn’t be surprised if down the road Phil becomes a complete schizo

yup, I see it as Phil is like the the tv show St Elsewhere, where, spoiler for like a 40 year old TV show.

The whole series takes place in the imagination of an autistic child, that's phils reality. The people who tell him things, the things he reads, the experiences he has which based on how he makes shit up that just happened to him you can safely assume his stores of his youth are the same...and I mean some of them are way out there like burning half his face and the ever changing bully story.

the more he crawls into his echo chamber for one the more he deranged and harder to listen to he becomes. I never really felt he was a cult leader or cult like he just talks to himself convincing himself every pre-stream, now "p o d ca s t", that his own bullshit is how everything really is, he just got a handful of more exceptional people as collateral damage.

Yep, I recorded his Nightbot's filter in the leaks back in March. There was even a second filter built into Twitch itself that had some extra blocked terms, but it only had like 5 or so terms, mostly Subaruman references.

What I love about this is that WE, those who laugh at his salty footage, are the reason he does this, the reason he goes out of his way to set this kind of pattern up over and over again, like a bowler setting up his own pins to known them down again and again, forever. Eight years of TIHYDP has absolutely ruined his streams, permanently, and that's one hell of a W right there.

Phil, of course, does not recognize this as an L for him because his ego is more important to him than even his greed, but it obviously is still a giant L, when you look at the state of his tips. He would be doing WAY better if he faced games like Metroid Dread like a fucking man instead of the biggest pussy on YouTube. He may prefer this Hell, but it still burns. It still makes him drink.

Sad is that people actually do come out to the streams & support him with money when he plays super hard games & rages uncontrollably.
Yet he won't accept that him being bad at games as a fact & only plays the "chill" games & has to beg super hard to make any money.

What a terrible business practice.

Holy shit, I thought you were joking.

What is happening with Phil? Why is he so desperate to change things? The man who spent years doing the same thing over and over now wants to implement multiple changes in his channel.

I wonder if some massive whale told him that they'll stop donating soon, and so Phil got desperate that a large part of his income depends on that.

It just doesn't make any sense. I predict he'll soon appear with a green screen behind him.

This is even worse if you put it into the context that he repeatedly said he was just getting by, while thousands of dollars was disappearing from his account on very obvious consistent charges to Apple and DoorDash. It's one thing if you're financially comfortable and you miss a bad charge or two, but the systemic charges over months when you were struggling?

This is my favorite part. All that time he was begging for tips, paying "daily bills", was keeping a budget and running a business, and all of a sudden he wants us to believe he was a victim of egregious, routine identity theft the entire time?

Even if we believe this latest version of reality, that makes it even *less* his paypig's responsibility to donate to his daily begging charity. If you're so bad with money you didn't notice this happening for months, all the while begging for money, why the hell should anyone give you anything?

Of course that same logic would also apply to the bankruptcy, and his paypigs didn't seem to care, so who the fuck knows.

Either way the reality he's tried to construct is a psychological defense mechanism and the more he tries to grift the more nonsensical that reality becomes, and I don't even think he realizes it.
