Someone on this thread mentioned something I had never heard of before. Kabuki Syndrome. They posted pictures, and after I read more about it and looked at several photos, I...just cannot unsee it with her anymore.
What makes it worse is her Flemish Giant dewlap and headshape resembling a malformed aubergine/potato. Her fucking eyes...the shape--especially with her shitty ass drag queen makeup and false eyelashes REALLY sell the Kabuki Syndrome look.

And then there are her nasty ass hands and feet. Them toes... I thought Ryan Hooves and Anna O'Brien had disgusting feet and toes... Turns out chinny would like them to hold her Twisty Misty.

Nah, people with Kabuki syndrome have a VERY characteristic facial appearance, with very long eyelashes and distinctively arched eyebrows. They also have misshapen ears - ears are one of the "soft signs" geneticists look for when narrowing down a diagnosis. Finally, people with KS have long, tapered fingers with prominent finger pads, not Chinny's fat stubby paws.

Chinny is just fat and disgusting. Sometimes, people just are, without there being a rare syndrome underneath.

It definitely looks like the fatty liver is getting the best of her. Nader commented in a stream that she looked yellow, and she commented on looking yellow during a later stream at the Beezoire (although, as usual, she could have been just parroting Nader). Someone in the Chantal thread recently said that it looks like she lost weight in her face but her gut is the same level of enormous.

Once symptoms of liver disease progress that far it's no joke. The diagnosis alone should have been concerning to her, yet she brushed it off and continued to eat deep-fried, sodium-laden junk. I guess she figures she'll "cure" herself of liver disease just like she "cured" herself of diabetes.

Yes, it has been repeatedly discussed, but it is not helpful to use a picture that has been edited so heavily to make your point. That isn't remotely what her face looks like. Borrowing from @Obligatory Butt Shot, this is what her face really looks like. While I don't think anyone would argue that there is SOMETHING wrong with her, there is an infinite list of things that it could be. Part of what has her face so mishapen is the massive amounts of fat that are trying to find places to live. When she adds tons of filters and face tunes, it distorts things even more.

I don't know if she's doing coke, but she's doing some kind of upper. When she starts getting a sense of humor about herself. Super hyper. Things like that she's using. You can even tell by the end of the day she was getting exhausted and shit. (coming down). She's a super morbidly obese fatass. She doesn't just get spurts of energy like this. She's teehee-ing talking about her skinny ankles poking fun at the chat. Her "jovial" mood is almost always because of uppers. Her normal baseline is sedentary consumer. If that bitch is hoppin' and skippin' she's revved up on something.

Addies is my guess. Alot cheaper and the high will last longer and given she completely fucked up smoking pot, I imagine she fucked up snorting coke. <I think they are also actually easier to get in Canada then the USA now. But I could be wrong, a Canadian Farmer will need to chime in. The USA's health care system is odd just state to state. Another one that she might get as an actual script from -any- doctor for weight loss would be Phetermine, but she'd sure as fuck be doubling down on dosing to be tweaked out, it's a mild upper. Also normally used with mood stabilizers.

For someone as fat as Chinny, the weight loss caused by topiramate wouldn't even be enough to make a dent, even in the formulation that is combined with phentermine. The primary mechanism by which it causes weight loss is decrease in appetite, and we have seen how that works for Chinny. She either forces herself to eat even though she isn't hungry, or she quits taking her medication because she's so deeply uncomfortable with the idea of not wanting to binge 24 hours per day.

Because they're not eating because of hunger, they're eating because of psychological mechanisms where eating is the only thing they have to feel better and pass the time. Even if the urge to binge went away they'd still eat in excess because while they eat they feel good. And if topamax took that feeling away there'd be nothing else to cover for it and they'd stop the topa.
You see it all the time with people who get gastric bypass/similar. When they can't overeat they feel empty and depressed because of the shitton of psychological issues that they have no other coping mechanism for than eating.

yes, this is the most likely scenario if any of these people got prescribed something like topa imo. slight PL, but topamax and i go way back and it completely re-wires your brain. it almost makes food and eating a disgusting chore, completely different from the appetite suppressant you get from amphetamines. it's also a horrifically hard drug to "just quit". so you're right, if food is the only thing that comforts you and suddenly that one thing becomes revolting, you're inevitably going to turn to something else, especially if 1) you have no friends or hobbies and 2) you have crafted your entire person around being fat and making money from eating Online™. there needs to be therapy in conjunction with medication (or surgery i guess), like @Verxis said, not one or the other.

That's a scary thing, isn't it? That our all-knowing, professional, and totally-not-corrupt medical industry is so incompetent that they don't realize the cure they're selling is more dangerous than the disease.
The food addiction may have been better because there is only a mild chemical dependency compared to something like opioids.

Not everyone that has WLS has an eating disorder or a food addiction. Many just eat too much for the energy they use. You can be fat because you enjoy food too much for your own good. Any decent bariatric program includes psychological evaluation as part of the approval process...fail the pysch testing and you'll be denied WLS until you receive treatment and are cleared by a pyschologist. This is where ALR fell on her arse with her last attempt at getting surgery, even though she thought writing the check on the spot would guarantee her approval. Publically funded bariatric programs like Chantal was trying to access, are even more rigid...she didn't even manage a first appointment before virtually discharging herself from their program.

The Canadian Health System, as with the NHS, is very likely to have very long wait list for such surgery. She might be able to do it privately but it is expensive and she still needs to be cleared by a psychologist. For Amber and Chantal, the only option they have is to go to Mexico for the surgery.
