Just look at the body language!
50% of the people in this image want to be there, Kiwis! Can you guess which one?

75% of the picture is occupied by our friend with the gaping maw, bringing the focus to him. He reaches out to her, clinks the glass, and I'm sure holds his stupid pose as he makes sure that the framing of his picture is just perfect. Also notice how open his posture is; he is either feigning happiness and confidence, or genuinely believes it. And he has the soy eyes (dead eyes, in other words).

Looking at the other 25% of the picture, our AFAB friend is trying to protect herself from this huge fuckin' goof the best she can. She has a classic 'play along' smile/grimace (which a young Reprobate, upon retrospect, saw a lot of #cringe). The hunched shoulders, arms across the front of her body, as well as the purse in her lap indicates she wants SOMEthing, anything to get protection from this atomic soy bomb across from her.

I love that this goof thought it was a good idea to post this picture.
