Idk about Couch Cuck or the story behind it, but the the two out of X shooters that Something Awful that I remember were all banned after the shooting. In instances one, the bird shot guy, TFR specifically mock him and told him the right type of ammo he should use to"protect his pumpkins." After the news broke, the posters in the thread were all "oh, did we tell him this information?"

In instances two, the Antifa shooter, CSPAM's moderating has led to a culture where political violence is okay...until it's not. Moderators, who are under the tutelage of Admins, have been letting violent retroact slide for years. But since it's at the "evil" side according to them, they don't really care, until in brings the spotlight onto them by a supposed neo-nazi asian. CSPAM also has people teaching how to make bombs on the clearweb (you don't need an account to view CSPAM), thus encourage more Antifa and violent people to fork over money to join.

As far as I know, Null has exasperatedly tried to make his forums as non-political as possible and has made clear he has no qualms with forking over data in the event of a subpoena. If he banned the poster before the shooting took place , than that shows diligence.

Null showing the posts also shows that he is willing to at least make an example and not pretend like this person wasn't a forum member (whether or not they were a current member or banned before said event). In the two instances of SA that I mentioned, the first was memory-holed, and the second left the mods and admins looking around throwing up their hands about "how could someone like that post on here?" No action was taken beyond either making CSPAM non-public for a few days or making the specific thread in CSPAM the shooter posted in non-public, I forget which. SA has a long history of sweeping things that make them look bad under the rug, Null gave that up long ago ever since MSM blamed things on his forum that were in no way related (NZ mosque shooting and tranny 41% anyspeed)

Another thing to note is wether or not the forum specifically led to the shooting occurring. In SA's occurrences, the answer is 1 yes and 1 no. The bird shot guy would most likely have done the shooting with or without the advice of goons as he was mentally unhinged, so I don't think they're personally to blame for that one. In the Antifa it's a yes, since their culture of "political violence is a-ok" instilled the mindset into the twig to pull the trigger. You could argue that the other Antifa around him were more of a factor, but his mindset was constantly validated on SA, where he was also surrounded by Antifa. It was an ideological shooting, and CSPAM is an ideological forum.

As for couch cuck, I again do not know the details, but Null has done his best to not allow ideological retards from taking over his forum. It could have been like the bird shot guy and it was a shooting that was going to happen no matter what, he just happened to either be banned before hand or after., but it would be whether or not he was encouraged anyway by the Farms. Yeah there are idiots who think the election was stolen, but he also allows people to make fun of them instead of making it an insular forum where that conspiracy mindset is coddled.

TL:dR At the end of the day, more people have reddit accounts that shoot people than either SA or Kiwi Farms, so obviously reddit is the more to blame than SA or the Farms. Ultimately it comes down to wether the site encouraged and facilitated the shooting or the person just so happened to have clicked join at some point and they're an unhinged retard.

There was "Goonmurderer," Andrew Allred who showed up to a party with his exgf and her boyfriend and shot both of them dead. I found some articles and later I might look for the thread. It wasn't memory-holed because it had nothing to do with SA. His account was perma-d of course, and it looks like he's never getting out anyway. It's an interesting story.

One weird thing I noticed... some posters avatars occasionally flash the Bandersnatch symbol from Black Mirror (which itself is the inverted symbol from White Bear). The original poster's avatar of the thread linked above ("insane anime") does it. I've seen other ones do it as well. It seems to only be FYAD posters avatars? Anyone know what's up with that?

Yeah it was a guy that wanted to be in fyad and he spent a lot of money changing people's avatars in there. He changes his own constantly. Fyad tells him to fuck off every time but he keeps trying to get in. He's also a troon.
