Let me tell you it was evident it was an invitational because the skill gap was palpable. Apparently, being a trans faggot n-word furry helps in getting you noticed and thus invited, even if there are far more competent players out there, because there sure as hell can't be any other reason why he'd be there. Literally diversity hiring practices in action right there. He was about as fitting in this tournament as a black person in a Chinese movie poster. That's how bad it was.

He didn't win a single match. He got perfected twice, by two different opponents, and most of the time his opponents had like 70% - 80% HP left when they were done with him. It was embarrassing. I think he got like one or two good rounds in there, but it didn't go anywhere. He was eliminated immediately in group stage.

The fact that he's been calling the game "easy" and repeatedly boasted that he's top tier just makes this even more awkward.

And yes, ofc he brought his fursuit as well as a trans flag he proudly paraded during the entire event, being the insufferable cunt that he is.

To further this, even analyzing how he plays, he always tries to play aggressive. He rarely goes defensive, and even in Skullgirls, a game where you are PUNISHED for being too aggressive, he has been losing because he forgets to do one thing.

Play defensively.

I made a previous post about how he barely ever blocks on wake up and either tries to use a wake up move that has either invulnerability or some kind of pseudo mixup. He has no defensive play and always plays any kind of character or style that is effectively "I want to win" or "It's my turn to play." He never learns a character that would be better for him and sticks to one character who people say is good, or he drops the game. And as for him, if he really wants to say Strive is easy, then he better pick up his speed.

this kinda goes back to the (in)famous sonicfox cycle. SF usually jumps on a game day 1, finds the most braindead/busted spam friendly character to abuse, goes to a tourney and will either win with said character just to then lose the next one when people figure out how to counter said character or he lose immediately and drops the game. it's one of the reasons why I think he dropped tekken cos it's a game thats all about punishing which obv doesn't suit his playstyle (and because the tekken gods would actually tear him a new one lmfao) and the sad part is he'll never learn this and improve. why? because he has too much of an ago to admit he's not perfect and it doesn't help his fans and other dog fuckers suck him off and tell him he's good and doesn't need to change which is great for us cos we can continue to laugh at his fuck ups kek


also unrelated but did anyone see his tweet regarding the Rittenhouse situation? surprised he didn't go full on "If He WaS bLaCk...." rant, but maybe this and him getting his ass handed to him will start the "irl black joker" arc 🤣 🤣

Did Sonic even attend CEO2021? I saw top 8 for DBFZ and GGST and i was suprise to not see him in top 8 for DBFZ despite that being you know "his" game.
 
It's deliciously ironic how he was hyped up for Happy Chaos, who has honestly turned out to be one of the most technical characters in Strive simply due to how his gun works and having to keep track of your bullets and a focus meter.

Changing mains isn't going to make you better at this game.

Sidenote: Chaos feeds into Sonic's love for 'Joker' like characters, who are pretty much anarchist that give long-winded speeches that sound deep until you actually give them some thought.

I mean god I like edgy characters too, but give it a rest, lmao.

I mean one of the victory poses in Skullgirls is literally a girl getting her top torn off. And Skullgirls is what he's known for.

I think the difference is that SonicFox doesn't come off as a sportsman like the old gods of Melee would.
He's just a thirsty mushmouth faggot, he has no concept of decorum. He fucking saved the Skullgirls online scene and yet he acts like an autistic basement dweller. The devs put him in the background of their game, a game he mastered, and he can't wipe the drool from his mouth and get his act together. Why should anyone respect the rules of the game or work to master combos when the apparent apex of the craft has conduct this poor?

I'm not even complaining about him being horny, I'm mostly laughing at how he sounds desperate for some kind of sexual gratification. So last week Sonicfox was at MFF, friend of mine who was there said he hooked up with him cause he got hit up on Grindr.
On Grindr, the "I'm Gay" line doesn't really work, so there, he played up the "I'm a Pro Gamer" aspect. Thing is - he's only meh famous, so my buddy had no idea who he was he had to explain.
