There's a demand for star wars toys. Hasbro wants to cash in on that demand. However, surveying the collector population isn't as easy and lucrative as it is to have them make a poll but with money.

They know that customers only have so much money, but they want to see how much people are willing to give to them anyway. That way, they don't waste their own money aside from prototyping and marketing the toy, they get cost covered plus reassurance their fanbase will buy it even if they didn't hear of the crowdfund campaign and see it later in stores instead. Kevin only sees them as "why won't give me toy " out of this instead of a company working to give fans what they want but also keep in business. Commission someone on etsy for a 3d printed figure or a custom plastic/resin/etc one if you want it so much you tard.

I had this explained to me once in the context of Anime figurines. Basically, the crowdfunding is to pay for the molds, tooling and profit of the makers and backers get what they paid for in terms of an item when production is finished.

When you have ADHD to be noticable enough to a psych of some sort or it genuinely impacts your daily life, you go to therapy for it because it is a fucking bitch trying to maintain your life with it. I can't speak on the ASD but I'm sure there's enough of them on the farms to say "yeah I like not being dysfunctional, just someone who manages themselves with what I got."

Too many troons are taking advantage of their therapist & psychologist in the wrong way: talk about genderfeels, get titty skittles, then dump therapy or avoid talking about particular topics altogether aside from gender. Both ADHD & ASD can be managed without compromising your personality or putting thumbscrews on yourself, many people live normal lives being such, but lol that's not as quick or affirming as gendurr. Quickfixes and ignoring underlying problems make shit worse.

Unfortunately, if your main thing is Cluster-B or other personality disorder related, you're not getting help for your personality disorder because you have done nothing wrong and can't see doing such. Those are pretty... unmanageable.
