IMO the call sounds fake but I think it's a recreation of a real/similar event, made for police training

I had watched a video some time ago that came to the conclusion that it was a recreation of an actual call, and in my opinion that makes the most sense. Or maybe I'm mixing my mystery media up.
If it is true, give the woman who played that old lady an Oscar.

There was a reddit post last month that claimed the call was real but that Ruth Price wasn't actually murdered. Seemed reasonable enough to me, but I don't know. Make of it what you will.

Yeah he can be cringe as fuck, odd considering he's a beast IRL. Also not really a fan of how his tendency to drag out descriptions of events to pad runtime.

Yeah but my point is they claimed it and I don't believe went to any extent to continue on that point. Nexpo went out of his way to actually gather new information, like barely sociable does. Even if it's on a topic as silly as this it's more admirable than what 99% of these people do.

Pretty cool. I had casually heard of this weirdo on reddit, it's disturbing to hear he's had a long history of this creepy behavior throughout the internet. At 30 minutes though a lot of it just becomes a regurgitation of this "guy leaves fetish bait challenge comments"
I always get a chuckle when these mystery youtubers describe how they research their information. In this one Nick just "stumbled" across a video or scoured swimming forums. When most often than not, they stumble across these "mysteries" when reddit weens have found most of the information, compiled it on discord and some of them even write up nice summaries, convinient for youtubers, who then come up and monetize the information. I know Jorge and BarelySociable are more charitable and will mention the people/ discord group who find the information.

Something I still don't get with these channels is all the theatrics of how "shocked" and "disturbed" they were by seeing gore.
