Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? IIRC the story goes that Trump refused to attend because there was usually a White House gala party for winners afterwards and the people being honored in 2017 made a huge stink about refusing to attend the White House party that goes with getting honored by the Kennedy Center. So Trump told the Kennedy Center to fuck off and refused to attend in 2017-2019, with 2020 not happening due to Covid.

The entire Kennedy Center Honors ceremony is like the Meta Gala; two events that need to be wiped off the face of the Earth via violence (in real life; none of that "in minecraft" bullshit) due to them being nothing more that rich liberal circle jerks that show how utterly out of touch they are with normal people.

You see, the President doesn't come in with a brand-new budget when they take office, they don't get a clean slate. The new President has nothing to do with it. The spending was decided prior to their ever taking the oath of office.

Presidents have no magical superpowers, the economy doesn't just miraculously change because they're in office. It's already been done, man. They inherit the economy of their predecessor, and it's only a year or two later that we can see the results of their decisions in most cases.

(Of course, I'm responding to your post at face value, and not even bothering with the whole congress-controls-the-purse routine. We're vastly oversimplifying the process for the sake of shitposting, and it will stay that way, inshallah).

You'd be surprised how being in charge of regulation enforcement can direct the economy. Also, the type of threat you bring to businesses, unions, etc. Trump knows the game, therefore no one can pull any funny business without severe risk of massive losses. Biden is the most bribable man in office, funny business away!

The republicans are gaining support of every racial group except white people the only group the dems gain because affluent whites hate trump and the gop. If we run DeSantis which can over time build the Hispanics into a we only vote GOP block.

Florida governorship races are in off years. He doesn't have to choose between running for governor or president. And we aren't talking about winning primaries, we're talking about winning races and, specifically here, building benches. And Trump is miserable at building benches.
