Gotta love TLC, Jazzs voice is cracking when he’s saying “this surgery is all I’ve ever wanted”…. 😬
and Jazz who is an adult still speaks about it in such childish terms.

The fairy is as real as ‘her’ vagina and I think deep down Jazz knows that.

Personally, I think Jeanette trooned Jazz out because having a MtF transgender child was easier than raising an obviously effeminate and likely homosexual male child.

I finally got around to watching the first episode. I don't actually remember the last time I saw this series. Aside from the lynchian horror value, it really is such a boring show, even by reality tv standards. I have no idea what normies are watching this and how it's made it to 7 seasons. Some previous posters already mentioned some of these things but here are my random takes:

-Season opens with a flashback and it's SO stark to see how big Jazz has gotten in so little time. He looks like he's going to pop in the opening interview, complete with a breathy, gaspy, fat cadence of speaking

-Opens with beer/paddleboat tour to celebrate wonky-eyed granny's birthday. The family keeps telling us how much they all love each other but everything feels awkward and stilted, even with the editing. Does anyone in this family talk like a normal person.

-We meet Chris. She's annoying, fat, and woke. An obvious terminal cat lady but she still makes sure to show cleaveage. Jeanette describes her as an "LGBT+ expert" and in the "field" for more than 20 years. A real scholar.

-Her and Jeanette talk because apparently another tranny with a big following made a video criticizing Jazz. Jeanette's resentment for Jazz is finally coming through this season. Like really coming through.

-The next plot point takes them to a very unsettling Irish surgeon who Jazz will eventually intern for. Jazz and Jeanette are nervous that Jazz will need more surgery, and are elated the doctor doesn't think he needs it. But it's like...??? Your neovagina is so mangled looking you're not even sure whether it requires surgery? Is hearing "no" really much of a relief?

-Choice quote from Jazz: "I have a mini FUPA...fat upper [bleeped] area...I play with....I play with-- *laughs* --I mean I like press it." Producer chimes in: "It's like a little pillow."

-Jeanette, Jazz, Ari, fat woke lady go to a lame arranged drawing session with a nude model. I'm expecting some young, hot guy to step out...but no, some faggy fit gay dude in his 50s comes out. Like yeah, he looks great for his age but I don't think Ari is thirsting after some homosexual older than her father. Grandma Jackie: "I don't know where to put my eyes." Punch line writes itself. More awkward, fake, forced interaction between this loving family. "I laughed so hard my face hurts" says a clearly unenthused Jeanette.

-And the film crew must have only had time for them to draw about 10 minutes because all of their drawings are like...abnormally bad? Not even like random person who can't draw bad but like developmentally delayed bad. I think someone posted pics already.

-Assorted weird shit from Jeanette: "Obviously I like penises enough to produce 4 children...I'm around [penises] every day, just with clothing on." *laughs*

-Why does Greg sound like he's always speaking at 80% volume or something? Everything about him just feels so lethargic. Or just like robotic and awkward. I just wanna see him fucking lose it at Jeanette or show any kind of energy/emotion at all. Does he just shut down in front of the cameras or is he actually this milquetoast all the time? Cuck!

-Watching Jazz intern at the office, he's just so awkward around people despite growing up in the spotlight from a young age.

-We watch Jeanette and fat woke lady virtually confront T.S. Madison for saying Jazz' problems stem from Jeanette's abusive decisions. Agreed that the original vid is probably fake. It wouldn't be the first time the show has staged haters. What does surprise me is that, ghetto over the top sassy black persona aside, everything T.S. Madison is saying obviously makes sense and there's not really much to argue against. So I'm just surprised they wouldn't create more of a strawman so we could sympathize with Jeanette.

But it's such a pointless conversation.

"Why is Jazz so fucked up?"

"It has nothing to do with the surgery because she was clinically depressed long before that!" Jeanette says matter of factly as if this helps her case

"Then what was it?"

"It was clinical depression"

But never once, in a show dedicated to going "mental health rock!" every episode, do we ever hear the slightest discussion of what might be the root cause of all this magical depression. Are normies just supposed to think Jazz is just sometimes inexplicably sad and fat with three normal siblings but it's just a coincidence and totally not about the trans thing?

tl;dr this is a dumb show and I don't know why it's on air
It's really disturbing how obsessed every member of this family is with genitalia and sex, and how they broadcast it so candidly and nonchalantly around minors.

What is unthinkable for you is tuesday in the Jennings household. Jaron was talking P and V since he was 3, they had a farewell penis party with a Big Cake Cock and so much more... What the fuck else can you talk about if penises and neovaginas are your entire clans claim to fame?

Couldn't finish because I'm busy, but for the little I watched, whoever said Jeannette resents Jazz was on point.

Remember that clip of Jazz throwing a fit because he didn't want to go to therapy that I always post? That describes their dynamic very well. See, Jeannette is the good parent, she wants to help Jazz... but he doesn't want to cooperate, it's totally his fault!

Here is the same. Jeannette paid for the surgery, she treated him like a girl, she's been very supportive, she's the good guy here, it's Jazz with his depression and eating disorders who's ruined everything... what is she supposed to do? Drag him to therapy?

Her face shows she's very uncomfortable with the suggestion that any of this is her fault despite she likely knows it but won't accept it, ever. She's gonna keep deflecting and saying Jazz is fucked due to his own flaws, she's just tried to help her all along.

I finally suffered through episode 2.

God, I hate this show.

The worst part is knowing that none of this worked.

It's like watching a show with a big intervention and learning at the end that the person OD'd two months later.

The boundaries are so terrible, and the absolute pressure people who nominally care for Jazz are putting on him is hard to watch.

"My job is making sure you work out 3 times a week!"

No, it's not your fucking job, Sander you insufferable faggot.

The only example of "working out" we've seen Jazz do is stand there while his siblings played pickleball. He got winded chasing the ball down after it went out of bounds.

The kind of "work out" Jazz needs now is light weight lifting and gentle stretching with other fat people.

And this discussion about being "addicted to food" is some major tardery. Everyone's "addicted to food," even anorexics. It's just a big excuse for why eating enough fast food for a family of four isn't really something he can control.

And one of the super gross parts is that obviously the family keeps unhealthy food in the house because they like to eat unhealthy shit which is just waving temptation in front of Jazz.

It's like harping on someone about their drinking and then being like "Go pour me a glass of wine."

If Sander really wants to "help," he can make a bigass bagged salad and silently plop it down in front of Jazz when it's getting close to a meal time. Jazz can stuff his face without ingesting 3,000 calories. But Sander would never do that because for him being an "ally" means announcing what a good "ally" you are.

I know they're Jewish, but it seems like they could learn something from Matthew Chapter 6.

"And if you give a man a top hat, don't do it on main. But when you give a top hat, use your troll account, and Daddy Null, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

I've learned that dieting doesn't mean you don't have to stop eating. It just depends WHAT you're eating. Make Jazz binge rabbit-food (without dressing) if he wants to stuff his face. Or better yet, reduce his calorie load little by little every day so he's taking in less over time.

This, of course, is all in theory. He's just going to binge at college, hence why he's EVEN HEAVIER now than he is this current season.

In my limited experience with patients who want or need to lose weight, this is the way to go. If you simply ban all the food they enjoy, they will abandon the diet because eating becomes an unpleasant experience and they will go back to their old habits. And this is even more important for people like Jazz who gets gratification from eating. It's not the same about alcohol or smoking because you do need to eat to survive.

Jazz doesn't need to let go the food he likes, he only needs to eat less of it and more things that are healthy, but taste good. And the most important, he needs to burn almost the same calories he takes.

No, it's not your fucking job, Sander you insufferable faggot.
Sander's only job is to be Sander and live his own life like the other two. Whatever happened to Jazz is not his fault and he doesn't need to feel guilty about it.

That's easy to say but not easy to intetnalize emotionally. If Sander has a persistent feeling that something wrong happened to Jazz, a local equivalent of survivor guilt wouldn't be surprising.

Here's a depressing thought: what if Sander's constant declarations about trans women being women and pediatric blockers being heckin valid is him trying to convince himself in order to lessen his sense of guilt over what happened to his brother? After all, if he actually had a younger brother who got his entire adulthood ripped away from him and was changed into a slideshow freak, what does that say about his family? His mother? Him?

Ughhhhhhhhhh this episode is going to be a fucking slog so brace yourselves, kiddos.

SEASON 7: EPISODE 2
-Back to business. Jeanette, her grifter flunky, and the based troon are still chatting. Audience asks how Jeanette doesn't know Jazz is perma fucked up. Jeanette's response? LOL BECAUSE SHE'S STILL ALIVE!1!1 So then if Jazz an heros, does that mean that Jeanette is wrong? That also puts the blame directly on Jazz for whatever Jazz does in the future. Fuck off, Jeanette.
-Jeanette claims that Jazz is "Doing a lot better now". Bullshit. He's 100 pounds heavier and counting. "She found the right medicine!" Susan Schofield, much?
-Based troon tries to find middle ground. Jeanette fumes. Eventually, troon pussies out and relents. Jeanette's fucking face makes me laugh.
-Jeanette says that older mtf women "JUST DON'T GET IT". Sure, munchie.
-Greg is here! Jazz is still fat. When he sits, it's like a four layer cake of fat and misery. Jazz whines about the troon being based. Sander speaks for Jazz and it's annoying. Jazz denies being upset because of the surgery.
-Jazz talks about Jeanette's nipples. "I'VE BEEN SEEING HER NIPPLES SINCE I WAS 3-4 YEARS OLD!" Greg is rightfully uncomfortable.
-Ari and the twins chat at the beach. They basically want to do an intervention because of how fat Jazz is. They're going to police him to get into shape. Obviously, given the current pics of Jazz, it's not going to amount to shit.
-Jeanette bothers Jazz in his room and lectures him about his weight. It's ALL ABOUT HOW MUCH PAIN JEANETTE IS IN THOUGH. She finds Jazz's binge-eating hoard. Holy shit, Jazz lists a ton of food. Two chocolate shakes, fries, cookies, etc.
-Jazz get on the scale. About the same at the office but it literally doesn't mean shit. Jeanette whines all over the place. Jazz makes excuses.
-Because Jazz is basically a stunted child, he bangs on his tummy like a fucking bongo and won't stop. Lynchian.
1638926702267.png

-His posture is so bad. He's literally being weighed forward.
-Jazz and his siblings play tennis. Jazz looks dumb flailing about but at least he's trying?? TLC is basically turning this into a clown show.
-The twins decide to host "The Jennings Cup" for Father's Day, aka an excuse to be active! Hey, an actual good idea that would be healthy for Jazz! Or basically a narc show for Jeanette and Sander. Take your pick.
-The twins make an ugly Jennings Cup trophy. Jazz acts all haughty about their artistic abilities as if his "skills" are any better. The twins decide to host a mixer for LGBT kids + allies to force Jazz to be social. Sander, of course, is putting himself front and center to make this event for HIS benefit.
-Jazz makes this fucking face for five minutes:
1638927063422.png

-I'll side with Jazz on this one. As an introvert, if someone got in my face and forced a stranger-based social gig on me, I'd tell them to fuck off. Jazz DOES need to get out more, but it's all about Sander and his shitty social media, not actually for Jazz's benefit.
-The Jennings Cup is on! Gag me with a spoon. They have a watermelon eating contest like a bunch of pigs. Then we get to the potato sack race and Jazz PHYSICALLY CANNOT fit into the bag. Everyone hops around like an idiot. Jazz is incredibly low energy. Jeanette freaks when Jazz is super out of breath.
-Intervention time! Ari and the twins conduct their "vision square" where they essentially tell Jazz he's a fat fuck who needs help. Jazz gets pissy and defensive. Sander gets too pushy. Ari and Griffin are just there. None of this will fix anything since Jazz is huge.
-Jazz makes more excuses. "I want to make mom and dad proud because I've caused them so much pain..." Hm. Nice, secure family relationship. No wonder Jazz has to affirm his family all the time.
-Mixer kicks off. Troons abound! Jazz is awkward the entire time. Sander shows off for his tiktok.
-LOL the lesbian chick who brushed Jazz off in previous seasons shows up with her gf. Jazz gets huffy and all incel-y. "Where's my gf uwu"
-Q&A time! Body positivity whale asks Jazz about loving his body. Troon asks about the surgery and Jazz shills like a bot. Sander gets asked about his sexuality and gets preachy. Jazz sounds like he's ready to cry while answering each question. Whatever. Boring and lame.
-LOL Sander wears clown hair and it's literally the fucking clownface meme.
1638928003702.png

-I think that tops off everything. This ep had a lot of frustrating moments. Everyone is super low-energy this season. Or maybe I'm just numb to the pain. I don't know. Fuck y'all.
-NEXT WEEK: Sander dates a troon! Jazz goes to talk to a dietician! Muttnik puts a gun in her mouth!

My theory would be people did not fawn over her being pregnant or giving birth or she was feeling the strain of sharing the attention of her children (with her husband or her own mother) and was looking for a way to bring that attention back to herself.
Sander has mentioned that Jeanette’s pregnancy with the twins was a difficult one and she stood a high risk of losing one of them in utero. If anything Jeanette was chasing the narc high from the attention she received from that situation when she had Jaron. He was her last, he needed to be *special*.

Grandma Jackie: "I don't know where to put my eyes." Punch line writes itself.
Bless you.

I know they're Jewish, but it seems like they could learn something from Matthew Chapter 6.
Matthew 6
"And if you give a man a top hat, don't do it on main. But when you give a top hat, use your troll account, and Daddy Null, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
It's about control.
Jeanette can't get rid of the snacks, because that means ceding control of her environment and not having the snacks she wants in it.
Jeanette can't remove the binger from the environment, because then she won't be able to control them.
But if Jeanette tells Child A to watch Child B? Now you have TWO more things to control.
