I'm not saying she's a delusional schizo and wasn't vindictive, but that her initial statement hardly touched on rape, which i'm sure we can all agree is quite a cut above most other forms of harassment, and also attracts the twitter people which in turn attracts the counter twitter people and it all gets far bigger than she expected. The way I see it with lawhead and friends screaming rape front and center it just got so much bigger than she thought it would get and bailed.
