That's already on miltank. None of these are changed designs. They're only drawn in a different style so their proportions are slightly different.
He'd make half a dozen Jimquisition videos about how copyright is evil when big companies enforce it and the man is keeping him down. Which I personally think was his goal from the start with this shirt.
Yeah, this feels like Jim trying to bait out controversy to become relevant again. His apex was the Digital Homicide controversy, he clearly feels that if he can bait out a C&D (the cheapest form of legal action) from a giant like Nintendo he'd be set for life. Him trying to push it first thing on this recent episode pretty much confirms it.
You're right, he's probably not going to succeed at that. His shirt run will be moderately successful and Nintendo won't even know his name.
